                                          Pascagoula 1973: UFO Inquiry

Taking a serious and intellectual approach to the numerous and often many times unbelievable stories that are reported throughout the world regarding the UFO and encounters that have been related as ‘genuine’, it is not that hard really to surmise the credibility within such data as to its authenticity. For me, many upon many related encounters just don’t add up to mere reason or they simply do not offer any credible facts that can be traced to some sort of hard evidence that will support their claims. At other times when confronted, the very person who has reported such encounters will simply avoid direct questioning in an attempt to evade any further comments to their stories leading everyone to believe that a hoax has been constructed. We certainly do not have a shortage of strange and bizarre reports though only a small few in the vast number of encountered reports show any concrete evidence that would support these claims at all.

Throughout personal research and inquiries, I have considered only four, yes four, UFO encounters that strongly support the claims of the witnesses as they have related them to the public and they are: the Travis Walton abduction in Snow Flake, Arizona in 1975. The 1973 encounter in Pascagoula, Mississippi involving Charles Hickson and Calvin Parker. The 1961 abduction of the late Betty and Barney Hill and the Piney Woods Incident involving Betty Cash, Vickie Landrum and Ms. Landrums nephew Colby, in 1980. This small group of reports I consider the best-documented or solidly confirmed cases that prove without a shadow of a doubt that other worldly phenomenon does indeed exist and can interact with humans here on Earth, period. We have to understand however that these reports still have not proven that beyond a shadow of a doubt, the existence of an extraterrestrial presence. The fact is that we still have little to go on to place these reports as definite interactions with what we consider as ‘alien’ although through science and its many hidden paths, we can see the numerous possibilities that could contribute to such encounters. Throughout history reports of all kinds of unexplained phenomenon have been recorded and many of these are just as elusive in their origin as the UFO and alien subject. I also feel strongly their may also be a scientific connection that relates other phenomenon such as ghosts and the spirit world with the UFO directly. Just like the UFO phenomenon, other unexplainable encounters have yet to be proved of an actual physical origin. Having said this, we do know however that these things do happen and often in all walks of life and to all different kinds of people.

Not being able to explain something in what we consider as rational terms does not mean it simply hasn’t or could not happen as described by the individuals who report them. This is evident in the four cases that I have isolated and placed in the category of genuine yet unexplained, interactions with the unknown side of scientific existence. Also, these reports and encounters strongly support in my view, an alien presence. They also dispute the common belief that everyone who reports such has to be in some way mentally or otherwise unstable, on the contrary, it shows that after such reported interactions with the unknown that previously psychologically intact and reputable people can become mentally as well as physically disturbed as a result. The encounter report to follow should show you, the reader, just how real the UFO and alien phenomenon as we call it, does indeed exist no matter how many lay people claim it simply cannot. Journey now with me through one of my favorite UFO encounters of the four of all time, which carries with it two common factors, the factors of actuality and scientific probability.

For the reader, I have not chosen to document this particular encounter first in order of its credibility. I, in fact hold each of these reports of the four, as credible as the other. Each one forms a solid foundation in the scientific world that the UFO and alien enigma is real and it should call all in the scientific community to take notice even if in fact they have chosen to look over it many times in the past for whatever reason they may or may not have had.

The focus here, in this work, is to talk about an encounter that has intrigued me for a long time. Not only do I feel it needs much attention and scientific study, it is an encounter that simply defines the UFO phenomenon itself in that it defies all reasonable logic, yet it is in fact right there all the time and can present itself to an unknowing and unsuspecting person at its leisure, the year was 1973. I myself was just two years old in the spring and summer of 1973, doing what most kids do at that time in their lives, playing and making a mess for mom. Unknown to me at that time a major UFO encounter was about to take place, one that would ‘rock’ the foundation and beliefs of many, as well as forever leaving the minds of two men disturbed and confused at what took place. Charles Hickson and a co-worker, Calvin Parker, worked together in a shipyard in the town of Pascagoula located in Mississippi. Hickson was in his early forties at the time and Parker was around the age of eighteen. Hickson enjoyed fishing as a past time and went often, sometimes he would take the trip after work and this day would be no different. At some time during their workday Hickson invited his friend, co-worker, Calvin Parker to go fishing with him after work and they did just that. When the day had ended at the shipyard each man quickly retrieved their fishing gear from their homes and set out to a place that Hickson had fished many times, an abandoned shipyard in Pascagoula. They arrived before dark and fished without much luck early on. Hickson decided they would change fishing spots, he knew it would be dark soon but night fishing is something he had done before and enjoyed it as well.

Both men set up at their next location at the shipyard and began fishing from a wooden dock that extended out into the water, by this time the sun was setting and darkness was falling, yet it was not completely dark yet by any means. As the two men stood on that dock that night enjoying their fishing trip, one of the most bizarre and incredible things took place, something neither man was ready for, something no man would have dreamed. I have talked personally with Charles Hickson about that night in 1973, Hickson now in his seventies and of failing health was very pleasant and answered the few questions I had regarding the incident, I had done extensive research on the case and had listened to numerous interviews of Charles Hickson prior to my speaking with him, these interviews had been taken only a few months or years after the UFO encounter and nothing about his story has changed in over thirty years I assure you. The rest is UFO history indeed.

As the two men stood there on that dock fishing, Hickson stated, “I heard a sound, almost like a humming or whirring come from behind us”. As Hickson turned to face the sound, he saw something that dumbfounded him instantly, some sort of domed craft hovering just above the ground. About this time Calvin Parker had turned and also rested his eyes on the unexplainable. Both men stood there facing the object, silently, almost in a trance although Hickson said he was aware of everything up to this point. Next, Hickson relates that he saw some sort of what he believed to be an opening in the craft, where bright light was being emitted from inside and about the same time he also noticed two ‘beings’standing side by side in the light. Each man, Charles Hickson and Calvin Parker were silent, not attempting to make an escape from something that instantly struck fear, is something Hickson can not explain. Soon after the appearance of the two figures in the light, Hickson states that the beings began to ‘float’ or ‘glide’ out of the craft towards them. One thing that that really surprised him at the time was that each being was not touching the ground at all as they moved closer and closer. Hickson also states that as the beings got closer they took on a ‘robotic appearance’ and was nothing that he had ever seen in his life before. Describing the ‘beings’ after the ordeal, both Hickson and Parker said they had two conical protrusions at each side of the head where an ear would be located on a human. They also had a larger conical protrusion where the nose should be. The being had no eyes to speak of and only a mere slit for a mouth. Its skin was very wrinkled, almost like an elephants skin both men agreed and no legs at all were noticed by either man at the time. The beings did have arms, which ended in ‘claw-like’ hands as well as a putrid stench that favored battery acid.

As the two men watched in horror as the beings came forward, the next thing Hickson recalled was that they were approached by three of them and as they began to escort the two men from the dock, (one being took Hicksons arm, and two beings took Parkers arms), that Calvin Parker fainted. The next thing Charles Hickson remembered consciously were both of them being placed back on the very dock where they had been abducted. From Hicksons report they had lost about thirty minutes in time. He remembers looking over at Calvin who was lying down and thought to be unconscious, he then proceeded to check on his friend and he found that his own legs were ‘weak as water’ and he couldn’t stand much less walk, so he crawled over to Parker to check on him. “It took a lot of yelling and shaking”, Hickson said about trying to waken his friend but “Calvin soon came around and was very hysterical and crying”, he stated.

After each man recovered there on that wooden dock, now totally in the dark, in Pascagoula, Mississippi in 1973, and their captors long gone, each man tried desperately to come to terms with what had happened. This would soon become a life long obstacle for each man. Although Charles Hickson came to terms finally with what had happened even though he has never found a reasonable explanation, the opposite is true for Calvin Parker. Parker ended up leaving the town in Mississippi he called home, sometime after this encounter he also had been admitted to a psychological hospital for the extreme stress and inability to come to terms with his living nightmare. He was diagnosed as having Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). It would also prove to be the end of he and Charles Hicksons close friendship. I asked Mr. Hickson when I talked to him if he had since talked to Calvin Parker after all these years and the answer was no, although he said he had tried many times, Calvin just cant handle what had happened and had removed himself away from anything that might bring back the memories of that night, the night that was meant to be something fun for both of us yet turned into a life long struggle with what is the truth of reality.

After some time had passed Charles Hickson did a number of interviews, one in which was conducted by J. Allen Hynek. He also submitted to hypnotism at one point where other regressed memories were recalled. Some of these recalled memories detailed the time that he was inside the craft, where he recalled being ‘scanned’ full body by some sort of round probe with an ‘eye’ of light. He also stated the he was suspended it seemed in mid-air all the while this ‘probe’ circled his entire body. Hickson never recalled seeing any of the ‘beings’ he had seen before on the dock, in the craft itself, nor did he see Calvin at this time. He also described the interior of the ‘room’ as brilliantly lit, which caused much difficulty with his short-term vision.

In time after the event other clues emerged on the scene. Many other people had reported seeing ‘strange’ objects in the skies above Pascagoula as well as in the vicinity of the old shipyard around the same time that the ordeal for Charles and Calvin had begun. Many investigators as well as local police converged on the issues that had been reported to authorities by each man, nothing was ever found to disprove any part of their story.

As you, the reader can surely see there is much more than an elaborate hoax in play here. In fact, that there is no hoax at all. Something happened that night to Charles Hickson and Calvin Parker, something that literally changed each mans life instantly. Although Hickson handled it differently than Parker as stated above. When asked why he thought Calvin Parker suffered more psychologically than he did, Charles Hickson responded by saying that he thought he was more able to absorb what had happened without suffering the mental breakdown that Calvin had, because of the fact that he had been accustomed to violent and terrible things, having served in the U.S. Armed Forces during the Korean Conflict. Calvin was a young man and had not had the conditioning that he had had throughout life and that this was the major factor in how Calvin reacted and handled the situation.

I would also like to point out here for the uninformed, that Charles Hickson to this very day stands solid on his story. Nothing has changed. I also want to note, that my extensive research and in listening to the Hickson interviews more than once prior to my actual conversation with him, that everything documented in 1973 about this case stands to this day. The Pascagoula UFO Encounter has stood the test of not only extensive research and inquiries over the years, but has stood the test that proves to all people that the gospel truth will not and cannot unravel over the test of time, whether one chooses to believe it or not. Having said that, sometimes scientific fact is a harder pill to swallow than science fiction simply because fact can’t be denied forever and it stands to challenge everyone’s Earthly knowledge which forces you, the reader, to look beyond and prepare for a time when you too may ultimately have to face what you have been denying simply because you chose not to look at the world around you with a scientific and discernable mind. The science of ufology must be taken seriously, because one day it will show its face to everyone and when it does we need to be prepared at some level to rise up to the challenges it will present all of us, no matter what its origin proves to be.

UFO Mag Columnist is an Insult To Readers

Ufology has come a long way? I ask this question tongue and cheek. Here in the latter years, since the modern era of ufology was ushered in more and more people have seemed to take notice of a subject that was once considered to be only pure fantasy, or the brainchild of a seriously disturbed individual. Yes, there are many who strive diligently to find the answers that seem so elusive for so long. We have made leaps and bounds to offer legitimacy and worth to the topics of UFOs and alien encounter cases and it seems the tide is shifting in our favor, although slowly and painstakingly. There are many groups, organizations and publications today that offer us an unbiased account of the facts we all want and need to take notice of. Religious groups, such as the Roman Catholics have now offered their input on the great possibility that intelligent life indeed must exist somewhere in this vast universe besides here on planet Earth. I mean, can we honestly place limits on Gods creation? Hardly. Yes times have shifted in more ways than one, it is evident through the news, Internet, and it is also in the voices of millions worldwide.

Still there are hard-nosed skeptics and people riddled with pure ignorance, a fact that will always be with us. I mean this is the world we live in and no one person has the same outlook or goals of insight that we may hold important to ourselves. Nothing will change this fact of life. As a rule however, people that are passionate about certain things usually will stick to the core of the belief no matter the costs. They will, in all honesty, defend something that they hold as highly important and credible, especially if others are also depending on the outcome of research that inhabits such a topic or concern. But is this always the truth? Can people lose their focus of the true subject at hand? Do people give in to secular pressures, which can change the outlook and product for everyone? Can a person relate the intended set goals through channels that lead only to ignorance and a mind-set of just being heard? It is sad that many want answers to legitimate questions, yet they loose their source of credibility and respect by allowing outside sources to disrupt the basis of the goals that were set previously.

The UFO subject has always been hit or miss with people all over the world. The reason for most of this is because we have had no credible information to go on. If credible information is thought to be found it usually ends up becoming bomb shelled by being uncovered as an elaborate hoax made by someone wanting a laugh and to also bring attention to themselves, thus the credibility of ufology takes another punch right in the nose. We as researchers have become accustomed to such news of UFO sightings becoming nothing more than ordinary pranks some of which are very crude in nature and others that have been neatly constructed. Whether its an elaborate hoax or not, ufology and the sincere people within its circle suffer at the hands of people who denounce and make light of the efforts everyone has tried so hard to prove genuine. Credibility in ufology has never been an oak and we have misinformation and out right lies to thank for that.

Ufology has taken its share of flak from the physical side of the phenomenon being reported, and I am sure as I am writing this right now that it will continue on some level. It is unavoidable to a certain extent, mainly because we have no control over who does what on their own time. If a person wants to fling a pie pan in the air and snap a photo of it and call it genuine, then I guess it will be up to us to decide of its origin. Strictly speaking I think now with all of the elaborate photo equipment we have now it has been much easier to label these as ‘fakes’ and we have done well. We are able to decipher much more accurately the objects that show up on photos than we have in the past… lucky for us.

As I have said earlier, there are many good and respectable supporters of the real UFO phenomenon. They help educate, distribute, and research many of the reports around the world to everyone who lends an ear or eye to the subject. Basically, if you want to learn about UFOs, then you can go to your local bookstore and find a slew of publications on the topic, books written by UFO researchers and investigators, magazines that share insight on past and present encounters, as well as personal opinions on the phenomenon itself. These publications offer just about everything a person wanting genuine education about UFOs can want. I myself enjoy reading books as well as magazines in print and on the Internet. You can learn a lot if you choose to. Being ignorant is a choice.

This brings you, the reader, to my next concern, and if you are as passionate and serious about truly finding the facts about the UFO phenomenon as I am, then it should concern and out-rage you as well. Like I said, I am an avid reader on the UFO phenomenon. I have read in excess of one hundred and fifty books regarding the UFO dilemma. Some for UFOs being alien in origin, some against it, and all of them with documented facts to their opinions why or why not. One cannot surmise the context of any subject rationally without first hearing both sides of any story or belief. That’s just good business on the research end of any topic. However, there is a difference in believing or disbelieving in a subject than making a mockery out of it completely. Mocking something or making light of something that many have spent hours, days, weeks and years chasing is never good practice and is surely not good for anyone interested. So this brings me to the heart of the matter. A matter that has changed my point of view on the over-all credibility of the informer itself and one I am sure you have contributed to over the years as well, enter “UFO Magazine”.

Just like usual, I made it to the local “Barnes and Noble” book store here in my town on a sunny Saturday afternoon. The same trip I make about every couple of months to pick up a new published copy of “UFO Magazine”. I was very anxious to see what new information and exciting news that would fill its printed pages. I usually read at night when it is much quieter than the hectic days can bring, so I placed it on my nightstand for later enjoyment. To say the least, after another day of  “life” I decided to turn in a little early as I always do when I am going to spend any amount of time reading, so that is just what I did. I settled down and thumbed through “UFO Magazine” Vol. 24 No.1 Issue # 154 as I usually do to see if anything “jumps” out at me so that I can read it first. Paging through to the seventh one I noticed an unfamiliar face, a columnist. It initially caught my glance simply because I am familiar with the magazines layout since I read it often, and I knew this was a new addition immediately. I was curious and thumbed back to the index page and sure enough, the magazine had added a new columnist to its list, Ms. Deirdre O’ Lavery, Hmmm… never heard of her. Instantly I knew this was the place to start my reading journey through this months issue and quickly paged back to the column titled “Saucers, Slips, and Cigarettes”. That is where my blood began to boil!

Now, “UFO Magazine” to me and I am sure to many other loyal fans, has been a staple to the serious as well as the weekend UFO buff. I know I have enjoyed reading within its pages countless times and it “was” a publication I counted on for legitimate and professional insight into the world of UFO research. This time I was to be sadly and utterly disappointed. The title of the column was strange I thought after reading it, it really didn’t seem to “fit” a serious publication on UFO research, but sometimes the title is to get the attention of the reader and it certainly did its job there and at least one word did correlate with the cigarette hanging out of the side of Ms. O’ Lavery’s clown painted, rose red lips. Confused, I began to read the title of the work, “All Right, Who the Hell Is the New Girl?” “Yeah, who is she…really?” I thought to myself. I began to read. I want to be straight up with every reader out there, I thought this was one big joke! I read the article and with each and every line finished I grew more and more upset.

To start, Ms. O’ Lavery began talking about herself, introducing her column to the reader. As I read I was disgusted and nauseated at her attempt to break the ice with the reader. Foul language and an utter sense of ignorance and disrespect to serious readers was her route. She goes on to write her column like a heathen speaks. She speaks of “not knowing what she is suppose to be doing” in the article. “Flirting”? She asks. What is going on here? This is a UFO researcher? She uses so many foul words in her column, I would be afraid to show it to a life long sailor, really. She attempts to make light of ufology as she continues her misguided work and I quote, “ Well just glance over the periods in which I turned a blind eye to ufology due to the over-abundance of crazy-assed bullshit”. She should be taken as a serious UFO enthusiast folks? She should be a columnist for a publication that is supposed to help support the facts? This is crazy! She also likens UFO reports and materials to “garbage” that she has taken over the years.

She continues with her pursuit at writing and introducing herself to the UFO world by saying “Star Trek” and UFO books influenced her as a child. I hope no kids get a hold of her writings, they certainly won’t learn about UFOs, but their vocabulary will surely become unruly and more of a serious topic to their parents I’m sure. Ms. O’ Lavery continues to curse and make jokes about her qualifications as a UFO enthusiast (this I understand), to the point of referring that all researchers into the UFO phenomenon must be like her, as she states “ Most of my nights are spent sitting in the living room, smoking and drinking while scouring through hundreds of UFO-related Google Alerts”. Can people really take the UFO phenomenon seriously when it is painted that only sorry drunk people with no life dabble into this subject? Folks, this article is a disgrace to everyone that considers ufology worth of investigation! There are no “ifs or “buts” about it. Why would any magazine or publication have her as a columnist either part time or other? Is it because ufology has lost its luster and we need ignorance and buffoons to take over the reins?

I have never been more agitated at any other piece of writing on UFOs than I am on this one. It is simply trash. It has no place in seriousness or in the UFO circle. Why did this columnist get chosen, out of all of the many great writers out there that would take a serious approach to the subject? The answers I guess lie with the publishers of the work, and it is their duty to explain this to all of us. There are other crude and ignorant remarks made by Ms. O’Lavery in her column, and I think you will be as sickened as me after you read it. It is time to stand up for what we believe people. We do not need writers such as O’Lavery to make a mockery of what many hold dear. She is certifiable for this piece of worthless paper with all of her slang and ignorant insight. I wouldn’t trust that she knows anything about the real UFO phenomenon and I urge her to take her insulting and poorly written stories elsewhere. If we are to keep ufology pure as possible for the better of research, why give this jokester a second in a serious publication? What is the reasoning?

As for me, I have come to the end of my tangent. I have also come to the end of my support of “UFO Magazine” and anything related to it unless we the people who work hard and seriously on this topic are given a formal apology for such a ludicrous and worthless piece of journalism. I mean, if it weren’t for the readers, this publication wouldn’t be in existence anyway. Shouldn’t all publishers take this into consideration? We do not want our time and efforts to be made fun of or made to look like we are ignorant for what we strive to hold as a seriousness everyone needs to look at. The publication and writing of this column in “UFO Magazine” was a slap in the face to everyone of you who spend any serious time looking at UFOs. If it is not stopped, it will continue to stain everyone’s reputation in the field. Yes, ufology has come a long way thanks to the great researchers and investigators that have spent the better part of their lives on these issues; we simply do not need and cannot afford the support of people or publications that tear down what we have already managed to build.

2012: The Nonsense of It All

                                                                 David P Kuhlman, FFSc

In the world in which we live, money and the power of the almighty dollar have always been at the forefront. It seems the more money a person makes the more socially attractive a person becomes. This has led people from all walks of life in search of the quickest and simplest ways to make their fortune. In 2009 the United States suffered one of the most crippling economic crises since Black Monday in 1929. The country went from a free spending economic giant, to a frugal and meek money hoarding nation reeling on its heels from the devastating blow of a society that was uncontrollably over-spending. I must say that there have been numerous institutions and products that folded under the strain, which I never thought would. People stopped buying the products they all were so use to, and unnecessary buying was halted immediately.

The things we think of in the sense of buying are usually material and tangible goods. We saw a major decline in this area of spending. Most every market that sold these items were shaken hard, and if they did not collapse they had to seriously rework their agendas to bypass the near inevitable crash. One thing selling however was unaffected by the turmoil of economics, a product that has been selling for years to people all over the world. In times of hardship this product gains in momentum in sales rather than falls, and the seller continues to rake in money at other peoples expense. The item for sell is fear itself.

In our society it seems most are suckers for the extreme of speculation and raw propaganda. Aren’t we? We are never content with just life, which already holds its own set of mind-blowing moments and problems that we all must deal with everyday. No, we need more! Most humans are not happy unless they have placed more confusion and extreme uncertainty upon their lives in daily doses. Why? Do we thrive on gloom and doom? This type of behavior has been going on since man has been in existence. The need for extreme concern or worry in practically trivial situations during otherwise calm times ushers in fear in people all over the world and has been the norm; today it is no different by far. Why do people continuously indulge and worry about such irrational events even though we have no proof of their legitimacy? This is the million-dollar question and it makes no sense at all. Humans live their lives not looking for the good life has to offer now, but what may or may not lie ahead to cause a complete catastrophe for all the inhabitants of planet Earth…a global awakening.

Throughout time, in many of our recent past, there have been those who rise out of the ashes to predict irrational and destructive scenarios that mankind will unavoidably have to face. The apocalypse. A time of complete chaos and unspeakable cataclysm, that will leave all of Earths civilizations either extinct or on the brink of complete demise, an event of global proportions. I will not argue the fact that these type scenarios have happened at times in the Earth’s long existence. There have been proven eradication of many civilizations in history, such as the ancient Druids and the Mayans, as well as complete destruction of certain life forms on Earth other than humans, which paved the way for new beginnings of life on this planet. One of the most recognized of these is the demise of the giant lizards or dinosaurs that inhabited this planet for millions of years. It is clear that man existed sometime after this age and that the time of man was a new era in the Earth’s timeline. Could have man existed without the destruction of the dinosaur? Possibly, but it was not in the great plan of Earths development, at least it isn’t a part of our current knowledge. Possibly one day we may find that man did indeed exist with these great lizards of prehistoric times, but for now we have no evidence. We know there have been many changes over time, this is very evident, but is it possible for one to predict such events for our future, the demise and eradication of all mankind? We speculate that the dinosaurs’ reign was cut short on Earth by a giant asteroid that impacted the Earth’s surface, which forced an ice age and the immediate cessation of life, or was it something else? The worries of this happening again still exist today, and they are used as a hypothetical end of life scenario for all mankind. The dinosaurs’ extinction however was not a predicted event due to the evident absence of any form of written communication. There is one event that was predicted however, and it has been proven to have taken place just as accounted. This event was the great flood, as reported in the Bible. God used water to level the Earth, to cleanse it from the wickedness that had found its way into mans life, to start a new beginning. Could there be another ending in store for us all?

We can use history to look back at many people throughout time that could ‘see the future’, and make ‘historic predictions’ of calamity and chaos that would befall humans in the coming ages. One of the most recognized of these people is Nostradamus, 1503 to 1566, the great so-called prophet, who supposedly predicted many of the futures great catastrophes and uprisings. Included in Nostradamus predictions was the rise of Adolf Hitler and the Third Reich as well as the modern day events of the twin towers destruction of September 11, 2001 in New York by terrorist attacks. Many, upon many claim that the writings by Nostradamus clearly show his gift of predicting future events, however a closer look at his writings show that many of his writings can be linked in a loose way to many events and not to any one in particular. In fact, his writings or visions were so openly written that you could relate just about any disaster or change of significance throughout history with his memos. It is my belief as it is others too, that Nostradamus was more a false prophet than anything else. There were many upon many predictions made by him that you rarely hear of that were never related to anything or came to pass in any shape or form. People can read into any situation or prediction what they want, no matter what the situation may be. At this point let me comment on another area that I think is of importance. Every time a prediction is made it seems to always involve gloom, doom, destruction and evil. Why not at least predict good things that have or will happened throughout this world’s history? It is because sadly, man himself lives and thrives on fear itself, a waiting for the evil end to come. This trait seems to be as much part of the humans’ make-up as is the red blood that flows through his veins. Lets take a look at the past regarding speculation of the end of the world, as we know it, and the selling of utter worldly nonsense, which led to fear and chaos.

The year was 2800 B.C. and the oldest surviving prediction of the end of the world was found inscribed on an Assyrian clay tablet. It read, “Our Earth is degenerate in these latter days. There are signs that the world as we know it is speedily coming to an abrupt end. Bribery and corruption are very common.” In 1284, Pope Innocent III predicted the second coming of Christ was at hand in this year. He based this on the date of the inception of the Muslim faith, then he added 666 years to that, what is known as the ‘Mark of the Beast’ in the Bible.

In 1524, some 20,000 people panicked by predictions made by a group of London astrologers abandoned their homes and fled to high ground in anticipation of a second great flood that was predicted to overflow from the Thames River. In 1648 a close study of the kabbalah, the Turkish rabbi Sabbatai Zevi predicted that the Messiah would make a miraculous return, and that his name would be Sabbatai Zevi. The year 1666 brought much anxiety and false predictions due mainly because of the evident number 666 in the date. In 1792, the Shakers predicted the end of the world, as they knew it. Throughout history many individual groups and faiths have speculated about the end of days. The Jehovah’s Witness group have predicted this many times. Predictions were made in 1914, 1915, 1918, 1919, 1920, 1925, 1941, 1975, and as recent as 1994. In 1844 Baptist preacher William Miller predicted the return of Christ and the rapture in upstate New York on October 22 of that year. This has become known as the “Great Disappointment” in history.

Some of the most memorable predictions of the end of the world made within my lifetime, and that I can recall from experience began in the year 1988. In this year there were many predictions made by many separate groups and individuals as to why the world would end in this year. A major book that was written was titled “ 88 Reasons Why Christ Will Return in 1988”, by Edgar Whisenant. In 1994, Harold Camping wrote a book titled “ Are You Ready?”  It predicted Christ would return in September 1994. Oddly enough, this same man has set a new date for apocalypse since his first one missed its mark. The date for the doom of man has been rescheduled for October 21, 2011!

The year 1997 will be remembered well by many because of the extremes that were gone to regarding the possible end of the world. This was the year of the comet ‘Hale-Bopp’ and it gave rise to many end-of-the-world theories. All of these scenarios were based on a mistaken observation by amateur astronomer Chuck Shramek. A cult group known as the ‘Heavens Gate’ seized on these combined rumors and speculations as the their signal to commit mass suicide in March of that year. The belief was that a UFO was trailing the comet within its tail, and after these brainwashed people committed their own deaths, they would be taken aboard this craft and be transformed immortally. This year was also said to be the 6000th anniversary of creation, which was supposedly calculated by Bishop Ussher who lived from 1581 to 1656. This led to mass panic near the end of this year.

In 2000, many church fathers believed that the Earth would only last 6000 years. They made this speculation with the six days of creation combined with the reading in 2 Peter 3:8 in the Bible. In September 2008 based on certain feast days and “blood moons”, many predicted the apocalypse and rapture; this was the birth of the Y2K panic.

As we have just seen, there have been numerous predictions and loosely constructed speculations regarding the end of the world, as we know it. We also know that all of these predictions were pure fantasy, and the brainchild of some very questionable people and groups all over the world. Why were these predictions made? Where did it in history, help our civilization as a whole? The answer is nowhere. This brings us to today. I wish I could say that today is different. A place where all humans as a whole have learned from off the wall speculations and weak assumptions, but nothing is farther from the truth sadly to say. Today we are approaching one of the most monumental and radical predictions for us in history. As I write this paper, there are many millions of people all over this globe that are preparing for the final day of human existence. The day that man was supposedly destined to meet face to face with one day, a day that has been inscribed in the very DNA of our existence in this cosmos, the unavoidable end of the world December 21, 2012, the certain day of the apocalypse and the cessation of life as we know it on this Earth.

The date December 21, 2012 is now recognized as a date of some significance by all who see it, whether they buy into the predictions made or not. This day, other than being just four days prior to Christmas, has a huge following for other reasons. It has been postulated that this very day will be the unavoidable last day of all things that we have come to know on Earth, and very possibly the last day of all mankind itself. I really can’t remember the first time I heard about this prediction myself, but it hasn’t been too long ago. As the reader knows, I write articles mainly regarding the UFO phenomenon. During my research into this phenomenon I was inevitably going to run into this event sooner or later. Many tie UFOs with the coming predictions of 2012, a tie I do not support in any shape form or fashion. To be honest, when I first saw the reports on 2012 I was not moved greatly at all, neither did I have a willingness or secret desire to join in on the festivities regarding this issue. Like many other times as stated before, people are making these predictions hand over fists, and I am not someone who jumps on the ‘bandwagon’ to satisfy others. However, as more time passed, more and more information has been brought to light on the situation, so I decided to take a cautious, yet educated and level headed look at these predictions that have so many in an unsettled state.

It seems the notion that the world would end on or about December 21, 2012, only some twenty-four months from now, has been predicted by an ancient civilization, one whose existence has been long gone. The ancient Mayans known as a people of great intellect and technology for their time was a civilization of meticulous calculations. They were a cosmic educated society to say the least. They were fluent with the understanding of the universe regardless of the absence of modern day technology that we have today. They used the stars and all heavenly bodies as their guide in the early days of mankind. They were near perfect on the calculation of an Earth year as well as moon phases and seasonal changes. I think one of the things that has catapulted the Mayan knowledge into our mainstream world, is their near perfect discoveries about our world in the light of present day. Today, we are still puzzled as to how these ancient people could have known so much, with such little to work with. I will be the first to say that it is fascinating to me on just how much these people knew to be fact about our planet and universe as a whole.

The Mayans were timekeepers. This was their expertise and this is what they based their lives upon day by day and year by year. They used the heavens as their clocks, and gazed towards them routinely. Based on cycles the Mayans kept written record of events. They used the stars to map out timelines and important dates in time that had significance to them and their survival on Earth. To know so much, these ancient star dwellers had to spend countless hours studying the skies above, and that is mainly all they did. They created calendars of events. Throughout the years only a portion of the Mayan written materials have survived the thousands of years. The books known as the Dresden Codex, the Madrid Codex, the Paris Codex, and the Grolier Codex have made it into modern day times. The Dresden Codex also known as the Codex Dresdenis contains a multitude of astronomical calculations and eclipse-prediction tables, plus twenty different calendars. It is this book or codex that many say has pinpointed the end of the world.

The galactic alignment of the sun and the Earth with the center of our galaxy, the Milky Way, takes place on December 21, 2012, as does the end of the 5000-year cycle of the Mayan long count calendar. This specific calendar was used to record cycles, which repeat over and over throughout time. There are five cycles within this timeframe and four of these have already expired. On 12-21-12, the fifth one ends. These events were recorded in ancient Mayan writings, and we know this because we have them in our possession today. The Mayans kept no more writings or records after this date. Why? Does this represent the end? Will this cause a great catastrophe and the loss of nearly ninety percent of all life on Earth that day? Many believe it will. If the Mayans were able to record what is happening today in our world over two thousand years ago, why would they be wrong about the apocalypse taking place on the recorded date? The fact is that man has no idea what the alignment will hold. It has been six thousand years since the last one, so no one in recorded history has a definite answer, but there are many who have taken this information to the edge of our existence. There are many theories of what might happen, such as a polar shift of the Earth causing floods and destruction of everything, to huge solar flares from the Sun that will leave the Earth and all that exists or dwells here to nothing but a smoldering cinder. Another hypothesis is that the rapture will take place on this date. As the time of 2012 draws closer, I am sure more tales of unimaginable carnage will surface, no doubt.

The fact is that society has bought another piece of pure and random speculation, which has brought fear and anxiety to many. Yes, the Mayans were a brilliant group of people. But could they predict the future? Hardly, I think. In perspective, yes the Mayans knew a great deal about our physical world, quite possibly more than we actually do today, but they have not predicted the apocalypse. The apocalypse is quite simply unpredictable, why? One must read the Bible to find these answers. Gods’ words regarding the end of the world is the only words that will hold true in the end. (Mathew 24:42,44) God clearly stated that no man knows the time or the day for the end, no man. (Mathew 25:13; Acts 1:7). This includes everyone that has ever existed on this planet then and now. So, why do these people come forward and make such bold statements regarding our end? Simply because they are unaware that the most important questions about the end times have already been written down right in front of them, in the Bible.

It is true that we have found ancient writings and art from a long vanished civilization, these writings show much about our present day world, but the fact that they show us our doomsday has been misconstrued by our society, a society that thrives on manipulation, money, and fear. People will sell you anything if you show an interest to buy it. They may not even stand behind what their selling as long as it benefits them at some point, and totally forsaking what harm it could do in the end to others and eventually their selves. People are making money hand over fist regarding this 2012 farce at your expense. Yes, I think many do actually believe that 2012 holds the apocalypse, but others have just jumped on the bandwagon to make a buck. Regardless of the intent of these people, whether it is because they truly believe and fear the coming future, or they just want what they can get out of society, the fact is they are both wrong. As 2012 approaches more and more speculation and lies will surface. More stories of great cataclysm that will befall the human race will make their way out of the depths of people’s troubled minds, and many more people will make their preparations for the coming of the apocalypse. No doubt there will be many fooled as well as many fools that will wake up to a normal day on December 22, 2012.

I have written this article in hopes that many will read and take to heart just how fast news can be altered and misconstrued. People all over the world are at least pondering the date of December 21, 2012 whether they feel strongly about it or not. I hope all of you will take the time to read a little about the real coming of the apocalypse that is written in the Bible. The Bible is Gods word, and it is the same now as it was then. There are many real prophecies written in the Bible, for God is the only true prophesier. I also hope that people will not go to unnecessary extremes regarding these false claims about 2012. Do not put your lives in the hands of man, let God guide you.

                                                  Alien Instinct?

There I was, bundled up from head to toe with layers of clothes and a heavy winter jacket to top it all off. It definitely wasn’t that I didn’t have a warm place to go, I just wanted to be here. Like most winter nights that I can remember throughout the south where I grew up, it was a cold starry night, the type of night that I looked forward too at the break of each and every new day. It was late December here and I had just received for Christmas one of the most spectacular gifts that I had ever received. No, it wasn’t the ever-popular B.B. Gun or a new addition to my vast collection of sports cards, though either of these would have been fine by me. What I had in my possession however surpassed them all without a doubt, a brand new telescope! Yes, a telescope had made me one of the happiest children in the world this Christmas and I was very eager to put it to use.

You could have always found me staring up through my prized possession on any given night when the clouds had so graciously granted me a clear view of the heavens. I had always been it seemed, in a kind of trance as I looked up through its viewfinder. One of my most heavily watched celestial wonders was our own moon. It was a breath-taking site! To be able to see all of the scars made by other smaller objects that had collided with its surface in clear detail was merely indescribable. I had always felt a deep yearning towards the heavens above as a child, a feeling that continues with me to this very day. Maybe my curiosities regarding space and all of its hidden wonders had started as the result of my UFO sightings some years earlier, or maybe I had been born naturally with some sort of intuition of the heavens, that I do not know for sure, but I was intrigued by all aspects and unknowns that lie within its very existence. I knew one thing for sure about my passion as a child, and that is that I wanted to know as much as I could.

Space is breathtakingly awesome. There are few words that really describe its incredible structure. I remember in Elementary School I was fascinated by talk of our solar system and the study of the very galaxy we live in, the Milky Way. Nothing in school, nothing, whether it was in elementary or in later years, High School fascinated me more than science and especially the study of Astronomy. I excelled in these subjects simply because I craved as much information as I could get, and all that my mind could hold. I am still mesmerized by it today and I always seek new information and news that may be just on the horizon. I remember spending countless hours out doors looking through my prized telescope at anything that looked of interest hanging in the black void of space above. I also remember just sky watching with my eyes, quickly scanning the darkness for something that I would know to be of an unearthly or unfamiliar origin. I have to honestly say however, that I never saw anything through all of those many hours that I could not explain, especially nothing that could have been contributed to a UFO. I new very well what an actual UFO looked like in the skies above, and nothing ever even came close to that experience again.

During my childhood I liked to research and experiment with things that are not clear to all of us on a daily basis, I guess my curiosities in the things I had witnessed so early in life that I or any other person didn’t have an explanation for had all to do with this behavior. I can look back now with an adult’s perception and see just how interested I really was in the unexplained. Truthfully I don’t even know if other children are or were as infatuated by the heavens like I was, and if they were did they too have an extraordinary event that took place that they could not explain, an event that still comes with no explanation? Maybe. As an adult I have had much time to process all of the information there is regarding UFOs, as well as conduct in-depth research into their origins. I have come to even question myself about the truth at times, but I know what the evidence shows. There isn’t one person on this planet that can say factually that UFOs do not exist without telling the complete truth. Truth comes from evidence, and there is much more evidence for UFOs than there is against it, no matter which side of the fence we choose to stand on.

Many have never seen what witnesses have come to know as UFOs. This is very logical don’t you think? I mean, like I said before, I spent hours and hours watching the sky as a child growing up and I continue to do so to this day, and have never seen anything again, at least nothing that can’t be explained rationally. In reality however, how many of us actually train our gaze upon the sky on any given day? We go along our busy lives with our focus looking straight ahead. Just take a minute to think about what I have just said. Can you remember the last time you really looked up at the heavens? Most people probably can’t even remember. If this is the truth, then how much do you think we have missed over a lifetime above us? The answer is that we probably have missed something extraordinary at least once, something that may have changed minds and answered questions that still remain to this day. It is possible. The life people all over this planet live is the life that’s right here and directly in front of us, but there is so much more to consider about life that surrounds us everyday. Don’t you think?

I do not have all of the answers regarding the UFO phenomenon, so please don’t list me as the authority. I am just one person in a vast sea of uncertainty trying to sort through all of the possibilities that lie just outside of mans grasp on the truth regarding life out there and UFOs. It takes many; yes many people working in unison and for the same outcome and goals to make any progress past the wall that obstructs our clear view of the situation at hand. Sadly, I must confess, many who are involved in the research of UFOs tend to become side tracked very easily and they become focused on each other’s individual works in the field and they begin to scrutinize and defame each other to the point that the actual goal of the discovery of important data is lost in a sea of bickering. Too many researchers think that they are the ‘galactic scholars’ or ‘chosen ones’ when it comes to the UFO subject, and they persistently devour any new avenues of information that does not coincide with their own. Why cant we all get on the same page with this research? There are many out there who will tell you that their expertise in other disciplines makes them more qualified to state their opinions regarding the UFO issue, but nothing could be further from the truth. How do we as humans compare earthly knowledge and education to that that may exist elsewhere? The answer is no one can. Yes, there are people who are more educated than others here on Earth about earthly issues, but on a cosmic scale this source of knowledge is all but worthless. We evaluate our intelligence here on Earth by comparing ourselves to others. Don’t we? I mean, we are taking our own tests to determine who is smart in our society as compared to others, what would these people score on an examination given at a cosmic level? I feel the truth is that we are all at the same grade-level here on Earth when we are compared to the vast knowledge that still lies undiscovered within our universe. Ignorance in people is the ability to talk as if educated about something we have no clue or cause to base a solid piece of factual evidence, and it happens way too often. There are too many ‘experts’ regarding the UFO phenomenon which has in the past, clouded mainstream research of the subject and it surely will continue to do so unless we choose to do more researching and listening than making irrational comments that hold no basis of fact.

Children see with untainted eyes. They have just begun to see and discover the new world in which they were born, and their response to any situation is usually straightforward and without any learned bias. With that being said, I feel that any report out of the ordinary made by a child should be investigated promptly. There are thousands of children everyday who report seeing things that just don’t fit normality in and around us daily. Are many of these reports written off as a child’s imagination? Unfortunately, I think that many of them are being overlooked as an over active imagination as well as just a child telling a tall tale. Some of these reports could be due to this, however there have been, and continue to be, many children that have insisted that they have had an experience that is not of an earthy nature and these experiences continue to take place as the child matures into adulthood. These are the cases that we first should take a more in depth look at to determine what exactly is taking place.

So, what did I gain from crouching behind a telescope for countless hours staring at the blackness above as a young child? I do not think I gained anything that I didn’t already have, because in actuality what I was really doing by instinct, was inquiring about a distant connection deep within myself, a calling, one that ties me and every other human on this planet to the outer realms of our cosmic existence. A subtle, yet moving look into the vastness of space, the port hole to all our past.

Did we come from the far reaches of space? Most certainly we did, just as I believe that there are other intelligent beings that share the cosmos along with us. Have we been visited by these other beings here on Earth? Yes, I feel mankind has been in contact with extraterrestrial beings for millions of years, and we have yet to disclose the information that is held by a minute few. I also feel that every human has a natural desire or fascination with the heavens as I did at an early age; it is engrained in our very existence and cannot be avoided. Many however never give it a moment’s thought. Maybe its because they are unconcerned with how it all began, or maybe its just simply that they never had anything in their lives to spark the initial yearning for the answers to what we label in modern days as the unexplained. The evidence of life out there we have now, the full disclosure by all regarding the origin of such evidence we shall possibly have tomorrow, I think we are ready, don’t you?

                                               Life, A Cosmic Approach

I would be telling a flat out lie if I said that I feel UFOs are most certainly interplanetary vehicles from another place in our cosmos, and that they are piloted by intelligent beings, Wouldn’t I? As far as most people in our society today are concerned yes, I would be stretching the truth to say the least. Maybe most of you out there would think that I had fallen off the batty wagon and a timely visit to the shrink’s office would be the order of the day? Others I am sure would at least give serious thought to my genuine credibility and paradigms of my mental intellect at the very least, wouldn’t they? Well, I guess you need to make me an appointment! It stands to reason that if any one person dares to venture and tread into the not so popular or unexplained realms of our world, then they must be insane. The fact of the matter actually is the exact opposite and I would beg to differ strongly in fact. To me the insane ones, or the ones lacking up stairs, are the ones that day in and day out refuse and close their eyes to the world around them. Surely this is insane? What good that could benefit man come from such arrogant behavior? It is scarier to me to have supposedly intelligent people in all walks of life simply behaving as if they are looking through the eyes of a potato, than it is to actually be confronted by one of our darkest nightmares. Being prepared and educated about the world around us is imperative, don’t you think? Here we are the most intelligent creatures that God placed on this Earth, a creature that is able to reason, solve problems, interact intelligently with our environment, and communicate fluently with each other, and yet we use these abilities sparingly.

I have read many articles, books, and editorials in many different publications and by just as many different writers as well. It does seem that most, not all, but most people in and around the phenomenon of UFOs and the alien hypothesis can not come to grips with the possibilities of intelligent life within our cosmos. Why? Firstly, I feel simple ignorance of the overall size of our universe is one major stumbling block that we all face. Yes, it is hard for even the most qualified cosmologist to decipher it in simple terms, and there is much that no one knows about it at all in precise detail, however even as a lay person we can learn much more about the overall make up of the universe in which we live, it just takes a willingness to do so. Look at all of the ridicule other scientist and researcher took in the past in making statements about the overall aspects of the universe, such as Galileo and Einstein, did this stop progress into the unknown? Hardly. In actuality it brought new insight to everyone interested, and most of these ‘far out’ theories have proved and held true even today. This is the first crucial step that must be taken into consideration in route to the understanding of our universe way before we start commenting on the possibilities of intelligent life or anything else out there and beyond, and until we can grasp the basics of the universe and all it encompasses, it will continue to be a failed effort by all. Thorough research into the basics of the universe is in order, especially when it comes to looking for something that may or may not be there in the first place, wouldn’t you think? I mean we have to be able to crawl, before we are able to walk in any new situation we are not familiar with. It is time to stop using ignorance as an alibi and to get back to in depth research and inquiries way before we ever open our mouths.

Another reason I think, for disbelief in life among the stars is based on the simple fact of our paradigm of thinking. Humans have this perception that life, if in fact it does exist elsewhere, must conform to life, as we know it here on Earth. Running water, shelter, oxygen, warmth of the sun, and food are all elements and building blocks for life on Earth. Does this mean these are principles of life elsewhere? We continuously and habitually search the heavens for ‘Earth-Like’ planets that may harbor life. Why? We do this because we are using an earthly approach with what we are familiar with, to search the heavens in hopes of stumbling upon possible intelligence that we would be vaguely familiar with. Since we have not pin pointed another planet that closely resembles ours, the popular belief is that other intelligent life must be unlikely. To me, the earthly approach of searching for another intelligence makes us much more likely not to find anything at all. Out of the millions of stars just within our own galaxy the Milky Way there are just as many planets in number. Couldn’t life exist or be based on different physiological elements than ours? Surely. The numbers are in favor of this drastically. Moving outside of our galaxy we enter into what is known as Interstellar Space or Deep Space, here the universe is home to millions of other galaxies, stars, and planets. This is a never-ending smorgasbord of galactic creation that has yet to be reached by human presence or technology. How can we then as humans, sit back in our easy chairs here on Earth and make critical assumptions as to what exist around us? This is exactly the arrogance I am referring to when it comes to many explanations that require an in-depth study, yet we simply assume we have all the answers just because we feel there are no other explanations in which to work with. Lack of evidence surely does not mean something does not or cannot exist. It is simply absurd.

Life could not only survive but flourish under different physiological conditions that are totally opposite of life here on Earth. The human organism is created to thrive in the conditions of it surroundings. Therefore the warmth of the sun and the exact distance the Earth lies from the sun is part of the overall recipe for life. Humans need heat, not too much and not too little to survive. This is not relevant just on the human organism itself, but to other life on Earth that works in unison to help sustain us. Animals and plants depend on our climate as much as we do and in turn we use these same animals and plants to help us survive. It is a circle of life here on Earth; everything works in unison to keep our planet in a state of the living. I guess we could say that since we are the dominant creatures of this planet, then the very make-up of our own bodies are the guidelines for all of the other forms of life to follow. In simple terms, the Earth and all that it encompasses is customized to ‘fit’ the human beings existence and the ability for our survival. Taking what we have just looked at we should be able to apply it to a cosmic level of existence of other intelligent species on other planets in our universe. Note, I said cosmic level, not earthly. There is a huge difference to say the least.

There are surely other intelligent life forms that exist on other planets, life forms that do not have the same needs or the physiological make-up as we do that allow them to live in totally opposite environments than we do. We certainly need oxygen to breathe, it is a staple we must have to survive and our lungs are developed accordingly to use this gas to sustain us every moment of our lives. Oxygen is what nourishes every living cell in our body. Maybe though there are other forms of life out there that do not need oxygen to live. Don’t laugh; there are at this moment simple life forms here on Earth that do not use oxygen to survive at all. These organisms are known as anaerobes and are classified as anaerobic organisms and they are as much part of the chain of living organisms as we are.   Today however, if we found a planet in space that showed no traces of breathable oxygen within its atmosphere, most of us would believe automatically that life surely could not exist there. The reason again for this assumption is the relation of what we need for sustaining life must be what others would need for sustaining it, so no oxygen means absence of life, but as we can see above this statement is very untrue. Life can exist without the presence of oxygen. I wonder how many planets that we have discovered over the years have been teeming with life under non-earthly conditions that we have just skipped right over simply because it did not follow earthly paradigms? Possibly many. Life could thrive without the need for oxygen, how? Because it would be based on a pairing of living conditions with the actual creatures that were evolved to live under these principles of life, much like we are paired with lungs and the ability to breathe oxygen, so could other forms of life be created to breathe other forms of gases within the universe. It’s not really that hard to understand if you just look at principles of creation and all of the millions of possibilities and combinations that must lie within our universe. Again, this goes back to understanding just how large the cosmos really is. Just like the lack of need for oxygen for other life that possibly exists out there, other parameters for life that we know of here may be exact opposites on other planets. It’s almost irrefutable. Science is not limited to just what we know, it is new discoveries and the ability to understand new paradigms of thinking that make science what it is in our world today.

Humans have this belief that we ‘are’ and that’s it. It is time to lose this heir of unjustified arrogance and to open up our minds to all of the possibilities that lie just ahead of us. We most certainly are not the center or superiors of the universe no matter how much we lie to ourselves and to others. I think we not only share this universe with other intelligent life, but that we are being visited daily be other worldly creatures. There are a select few that know the detailed accounts, I am positive. Has the UFO and alien presence been covered up and arrogantly handled in the past? Yes, it has. Has the government lied or withheld important news and information from the public as a whole regarding these issues? Yes, they have. Do many religious groups scoff at an extra-terrestrial presence and simply push it aside as demonic in nature therefore we should not look into the matter? The answer is yes, they have and continue to do so on an everyday basis. Humans need to start thinking individually about matters that could have catastrophic effects on them in the future. Stop ‘buying in’ on the ‘popular’ answer that is fed to you by people who are in the business to deceive. The answers are there, we must be able to research, inquire, and decipher them for ourselves without all of the gray propaganda and lies that liter the information we have. It is sad to say that humans have lost their individual rights to their own beliefs and paradigms of thinking, due mainly to our own insecurities about aspects of life around us. People cling to others words for support in a time of uncertainty when they need to be making their own judgments and decisions for themselves.

At the time we come to pin point an actual planet that harbors life, whether it be by our research into the heavens or by actual contact from the inhabitors themselves, we will find out just how far off we have been in our quest for the search for intelligent life as compared to our earthly approach. I feel it is highly likely that we are going to face a civilization that not only is years in advance to us in technology, but one that will have been surviving for millennia before us on what we now consider to be pure fantasy and science fiction regarding principles of human physiology. A creature that lives and flourishes at the cosmic level of existence, a science we have yet to scratch the very surface, a turning point for all mankind.

                                            An Alien Reasoning

It really strikes me odd, yes really odd, when ordinary people of whom most are of fair intelligence scoff at the notion of other intelligent life existing somewhere beyond what we call home and the possibilities that these other life forms have already made numerous visits to our planet. What are the reasons behind such extreme denials? I have commented many times that I feel fear is the culprit to the actions in most instances, but perhaps there are other reasons as well. It is difficult to put an ‘exact’ on such practices of denial however we are able to postulate a few reasons for such a practice if we are able to first understand the psyche behind each individuals reasoning.

When it comes to the phenomenon of aliens and UFO’s we usually always end up at a dead end when we try to discuss this area intelligently with others. A ‘wall of denial’ has been built around much of the population that acts to shield each and every individual it seems from having to face or discuss the possibilities of other life outside the confines of our living space on planet Earth. I feel that the ordinary person is not responsible alone for the construction of such walls of denial and disbelief, but that other factors have had a huge hand and influence in their construction as well. Still the fact remains however; we have allowed such action to take precedence over our natural way of discerning and evaluation of the world in which we live. This in many ways handicaps humanity as a whole. It lessens our abilities to find answers as well as our ability to understand reasonably what we must face in the future in order to prepare for it with the proper resolve and fortitude.

The governments under which we all live are very much responsible for keeping each and every one of us ‘in the dark’ about situations and new discoveries that take place around us. It has happened for years. They tend to shield us from things that they feel are ‘unimportant’ or ‘harmful’ aspects of life that we do not need to be exposed to. Is this a wise policy? Many times important discoveries are made in the name of science that are never disclosed to us at all, things we should have the right to know. We do have the right to know about the world in which we live, don’t we? The government usually can defend their actions by simply telling us that releasing such data would compromise the situation or information at hand, therefore seriously compromising the strength of the nation as a whole. This surely isn’t the truth in most cases? However, we buy this explanation usually with little fight or inquiry. Not a good practice, I must say. What will change our actions regarding obtaining such information in the future? Not everything compromises a nations stability. In fact the compromise actually is the fact we are being lied to about many situations all over the world. The phenomenon regarding aliens and UFOs is just one in the sea of hidden information. We though, have taken this shallow response from governments so long that it is common practice. It is one of, if not the largest reasons why we are stuck in the dark on the UFO issues facing us today. It is nearly impossible to separate truth from fiction simply because we have had little or no truth relayed to us over the years. People are actually afraid to ‘push’ for answers, especially when threats are being made from higher officials to keep quiet. It has happened numerous times regarding inquiries about the origin of UFOs, it will continue to happen because we have let it work in silencing a nation for years. Governments have laid the structure blocks for the misinformation wall regarding UFOs and it is built on daily by other forms of deceit and denial that we all devour like starving animals before we take a good look at the hands who has prepared it.

Religion has many facets. It is a common practice all over the world although there are many different forms and beliefs. Religion is a topic that is hard to keep suppressed when the topic at hand is ‘creation’ and ‘human origin’. They mix like oil and water. I have spent hours talking to people in the UFO research community about origin of man in relation to cosmic principles. It seems this is the basis for scientific study of the origin of mankind, however the subject takes new direction not long until the topic at hand becomes a religious struggle between many who have different opinions as to where the true origin of man lies. Religion and celestial phenomenon do not mix at a discussion level of inquiry, period. Why? If we look further though it is easy to see why most religious people are truly unaware of the paranormal events taking place around them. These people, no matter what the evidence shows, will not deter from their rigorous religious teachings at any costs. The religious person often feels a sense of betrayal of their life long teachings about God and the existence and beginning of man simply because of a new approach intended to find the answers we need. These new approaches are not intended to discredit spiritual beliefs at all, but rather to place an origin with the evident. One of the main religions in the United States and abroad is Christianity. Christian people I have determined to be fact, are the most closed-minded people walking the face of this planet. They are largely responsible, not all, for the numerous UFO misinformations that are out there today. I have seen many upon many Christian people denounce the alien and UFO hypothesis simply because they say that the Bible does not clearly speak of such, therefore it is not real and if anything is demonic in nature. People, just because the Bible does not point out other living creatures that may or may not be here on Earth or anywhere else in this universe does not mean that they do not exist nor does it automatically place this phenomenon in an ‘evil’ category. To me this is a very shallow perception by all who stand by this view and it is due mainly to the ignorance built by common religious practices and a mere lack of an educated review of the preponderance of the evidence.

Religion has taught many from an early age of basically what to ‘expect’ in life and how also to deal with life’s misfortunes and hidden events. What happens when something takes place totally out of the scope of what we have been taught? Time has shown when these events happen; many people do not have a concise and intelligent grasp on the real world before them. Undeniable, yet unidentifiable phenomenon is nearly always instantly written off and discarded in order to prevent our common beliefs from becoming entangled in a web of uncertainty and confusion. I have found from many interactions that especially Christians are quick to throw out any deviation from a ‘religious’ teaching as evil as well as unimportant. Why? Simply unknown or unidentifiable information is certainly not evil, but this is the way that most Christians as well as other religious groups treat it. These people simply cannot explain it nor does the Bible or other religious writings teach it, so it has to be bad. This is an irresponsible, harsh and wreckless way to deal with things we know little about. It is simply ridiculous. People use religion as an excuse so to speak, so they do not have to deal with the common occurrences of the world in which they live. Religion is used too often as a place that keeps us from earthly reality; it is also a place that handicaps ones mind from venturing out to understand the universe in which we live. God gives us the intellect to inquire and research the world in which we live and the intellect to know that there is more to it than what we perceive, no matter what excuses or tools we choose to use as shelter.

You can certainly see how government misinformation and religious influence can misguide a persons belief system of things that truly exist around us. They both have a way of altering our mind set of life and also of what life could have in store for us in the future. There is no mistake about it. In a way I guess all of this goes back to fear. Fear of the unknown is possibly the worst fear there is. Wouldn’t it make it better to find the origins of an unknown so that we could deal with it more appropriately? That is what we need to do regarding the UFO phenomenon, instead of ‘hiding’ our faces in denial. How do we go about this? How do we begin to understand the unexplainable? These are good questions and I hope to shed a little light on the answers so that we all can come together as one and study this topic with equal intelligence, to have the ability to by-pass other avenues of misguided information that have been created by mere uncertainty and personal attempts of deceit.

I want to be understood here before we continue. I am not rocking the religious boat or am I casting stones at particular people or beliefs. Each and every person certainly has a right to what they choose to believe and follow. I am a Christian. I was brought up through the years in church and I have strong roots with all Christian beliefs. I believe in God. I do not however, consider myself ‘religious’.  I want all of you to understand that religion is a mere ‘act’ in believing, a set of carnal rules, and a sort of physical participation or interaction. Religion does not prove or disprove your true inner or ‘spiritual beliefs’ in God, or does it prove you to be a Christian or set in stone your actual belief in a higher intelligence. Too many people have allowed ‘religion’ and ‘spirituality’ to become intertwined. Religion is an ‘act’, a ‘going through the motions’ type of interaction where ‘spirituality’ is what you actually know to be true within your own soul and a life long relationship with God through a spiritual relationship.

Many, upon many, barriers lay claim to our ignorance of the UFO and alien phenomenon, we allow it, its not just government deceit or religious practices alone. However, no matter how evolved or self sufficient we think we are, humans tend to cling to the promises spoken by other humans rather than using their own individual reasoning regarding things that effect us personally. It seems we are more able to cope with what reality is through the eyes of others. Perhaps this removes us to some extent from the actual situation at hand, therefore releasing much of our responsibilities and involvement thus mentally reducing the anxiety and fear it harbors. If we are able to overlook an uncomfortable situation it, for the moment, allows us to stay in the comfort zone we desire.

Human beings have been overlooking the alien and UFO facts for years by our own choice. Yes, like I said earlier we have had other factors in play regarding the dismissal of these facts, which has greatly strengthened our abilities to move forward in our lives without seeing the whole picture of the world before us. I truly believe we are one day going to come to a ‘awakening’ of the situations we have left far behind in our minds. I also feel that the consequences of the former will wreak catastrophic mayhem in the hearts of the general populace, especially the ones who have continuously tried to bury its true reality.

How will the UFO and alien presence be brought into the open to the public where there can be no denying its true existence? To this question I must say it is still hard to speculate. To me however, I do not believe that the general public as a whole would even believe it if the government of our countries laid it all out for us in black and white. There would be I think, still thousands that would scoff at this type of disclosure! I base this solely again, on what people do not want to believe, they will not believe especially if it tends to bend and warp what they have been taught to be the truth for so long. How could this be? It holds true. How? Many people today still refuse to believe that man walked on the moon in 1969! Yes, you heard right! I don’t think that I speak about the general populace, but indeed many hold to this notion. No matter the facts they have that prove that man walked on the surface of the moon, no matter if they sat in their living rooms the day it took place and watched it on live television, they still do not even conceive it was an actuality. Personally I knew a man, Ill call him Jason, that thought the notion that man had walked on the moon was pure insanity! His explanation was that the ‘moonwalk’ was orchestrated by Hollywood using sophisticated props and camera views. Nothing would change his mind, nothing, and he passed away with this same ignorant belief. I am not sure why Jason was so unwilling to believe that man had gone to the moon, but he did. Perhaps it directly conflicted something he had learned or been taught from an early age and therefore he wrote it off as a lie or prank. I feel that many would use this type of psychological block, and unwillingness to believe, perhaps on a much grander scale, against proof of an alien presence on Earth, there is no doubt.

In my mind I think it will take an incident far greater than verbal news or a casual glance at a television to make hard-core unbelievers change their minds regarding UFOs and aliens from another place within our universe. I think the type of incident it will require would be of a magnitude that would send millions of people into the streets at once into a blind panic fueled by fear and total disbelief. The exact ramifications of such is hard to determine, but I would say that many people would no longer be able to hide behind false pretenses from the truth in front of them. Of these people some would and could come to accept it, while others who could not, would make instantaneous and critical decisions out of terror that surely would lead to mass and hysterical ends. All boundaries of humankind would be shaken and tried in a blink of an eye, and all religious values that each individual has so deeply ingrained within would be questioned instantly. It would change all life and all aspects of our lives in an instant and would forever change the way we have chosen to disregard reality in the future, if in fact there would be a future upon the distant horizon after alien contact is made public to all who inhabit the Earth. The time of a new awakening is coming, no matter how much we deny it, no matter what religion we support, no matter where we live, and no matter how much it conflicts with our carnal beliefs. Be ready to confront things on a scale of extraordinary proportions, be ready for what you now call fiction to become a reality. You can accept it as a time of great change and education for all humanity, or you can continue to deny the facts around you today setting you up for what could turn out to be your own undoing in the process. The truth will always come to pass, no matter the consequence of ignorance.

                                                         UFO, An Educated Inquiry

By: David P Kuhlman, UFO Researcher

I think it is safe to say that all of us have at least heard or seen things at times in our lives that defy common logic, as we know it. Things that are not commonplace in the world in which we live that leave us in a state of denial and disbelief. This was also a common factor upon early man and civilizations as well. This does not however place these incidents in the world of make-believe and it leaves us to consider the true origins of such events. In most all of my work I lean heavily upon the topic of UFO’s and possible alien contact between humans, and for the record this writing will be no different, but I would like to consider another form of phenomenon that to me seems to be intertwined many times with the ongoing UFO enigma. I feel this writing is warranted simply because it is a very real possibility and an ongoing situation that many truly fail to see or acknowledge.

UFO’s and possible alien visitations have been at the forefront of past and modern day phenomenon reports for centuries. Modern man has failed to disprove or rightly prove the existence of such matters to this day. I for one have researched and indulged myself along with others to come to some sort of understanding and common ground regarding these issues and I will continue to do so until either I draw my last breath or all mankind knows the truth. The situation we face regarding UFO’s has seemed to always be a tough up-hill climb riddled with tons of misinformation and down right lies, thus making every inch of research highly painstaking to an individual that is inquiring. UFO’s and aliens have been the front-runner in modern day (since 1947) paranormal phenomenon and an increasing number of personalities are joining the ranks of UFO enthusiast as we speak, many of whom once scoffed the idea aliens from another world or realm was just utter bilge!

Through time there has been other phenomenon being reported all over the world as well, a phenomenon of a different sort of note… or is it? It is funny really how one group of people can denounce the existence of one thing yet they are ‘all in’ regarding other forms of rare phenomenon. I think we all would agree the sightings and reports from all over the planet regarding ‘spirits’ or ‘ghosts’ has been and still is a hot topic with many paranormal investigators today. There are today television shows dedicated to such investigations such as “Ghost Hunters” and others as well. There are many people or groups though whom I have mentioned above that seems to favor strongly certain areas of the paranormal and totally disregarding others that seem no more far-fetched to the layman than the one they support at all costs. During my time within the UFO phenomenon research genre I have noticed a similar or common bond if you will, with reported UFO’s and ghost sightings. I know that many who has studied the UFO phenomenon at any length has had to notice the similarities at one time or another. This is because it is a fact and it happens regularly.

Maybe I have been more in tune to these two phenomenon’s relationships to one another simply because I have had the experience on both sides of the spectrum, although in my case they were totally unrelated incidents, or were they? I had two UFO sightings as a child back in the middle 1970’s, one of which happened during the UFO flap in Georgia from 1974 to 1976 and the other in 1978. I witnessed an‘orb’ that was flanked by numerous helicopters during the first sighting. The second sighting involved a large ‘Fireball’ object that moved silently across the sky in a continuous and steady east to west route along the horizon. I also had a terrifying experience along with my family with ghosts and hauntings as a younger child in 1972. Where at times apparitions were observed by both me and my parents. I have to say personally that the apparition experience that was witnessed was much more terrifying than the UFO encounters by far!

Through all of the UFO sightings reported daily there are many of which that describe ‘entities’ at some point during these events. Maybe a person observes these entities during an encounter with aerial objects or the landing of an unknown craft or light but sometimes these apparitions are observed entirely separate from an encounter with UFO type phenomenon all together, but they are often preceded or quickly succeeded by what is observed and reported to be as some type of UFO phenomenon that we all are aware of. Through the years many of these reports have been noted where the witness has observed what they will relate to an apparition or ghost with an actual UFO encounter. Are these two phenomenons closely related? Is it coincidence? I feel this is the question that needs to be answered. If you have looked at and researched many UFO sightings as I have you will see the first question to hold many possible relations. Whitley Strieber, his immediate family, and even some of his close friends recalled strange apparitions that took place where he and his family resided all during Mr. Striebers’ struggle with what he believes to be his being abducted by a race of aliens from another place or time. The late Betty and Barney Hill encountered poltergeist type activity in their home soon after their reported abduction and encounters with aliens. Ed Walters of Gulf Breeze, Florida and his family confronted similar activity during the UFO experiences that they had encountered beginning in 1988. Ed had likened his experiences to that of  “poltergeists”. I know what much of the general public may be saying at this statement. “Gulf Breeze?” “That’s a big crock isn’t it?” “That was proved a hoax, wasn’t it?” The answer to that question in my opinion is no, however I do think this case suffered much misinformation and propaganda which did just what it was supposed to do and that is to mislead the public into thinking Gulf Breeze was just a farce. There is much more fact pointing to the authenticity of the Gulf Breeze sightings that was left uncovered I think due to all of the misleading lies that became intertwined with the original story, but this is par for the course when it comes to all UFO reports, isn’t it? Haven’t we learned anything about false information coming from outside people whose intent and existence is to discredit authentic reports? I am not sure we have.

There are other cases of apparitions and ghostly images related to UFO accounts. Creatures that are reported as ‘glowing’ or ‘transparent’ have been reported countless times. This was the case of the ‘Flatwoods Monster’ and also of the ‘Mothman’ sightings. The reported beings have been likened to what we call ghosts in many ways other than mere appearance alone. They have been reported to pass through walls, float as if in mid-air, and also walk without making a sound or leaving the first foot impression on the ground. They have also been reported to vanish into thin air. I think you would agree that the case for aliens, UFO’s, and ghosts being related is being made.

We now can see how these two phenomenons are closely related in many instances. They share many, upon many attributes. If they are of the same, then what are they and what group of phenomenon can we place them in? Should we place ghosts, UFO, and alien sightings all in the same category? Why not? It is infeasible I think. Regarding UFOs and aliens I have a huge case to make, as do many other researchers, and that is that all of these anomalies are related in some way with the spirit world. This would surely include ghosts. Look how many times UFO’s or entities are reported without having any concrete evidence left behind of their presence among us as stated above. Is this why we are unable to obtain the ‘Smoking Gun’ evidence? Numerous times these anomalies are reported without a shred of physical evidence left for anyone of us to study or recover, why is this the case? Many researchers will say it is because higher authorities rush to the scene and confiscate such physical evidence way before anyone else can respond. To me this does not seem reasonable in all cases and simply does not hold much water. I think the answer is still the same, there is no credible physical evidence left at any event sighting that can be distinguished because it possibly originates from another realm or dimension. Yes there are sometimes ‘trace’ evidence that is located but nothing ever that is of tangible evidence is ever removed from the scene and found to be genuine ‘alien’ materials. There are some natural elements found in higher quantities and concentrations at times in reported crash or landing sites of UFO’s that are not normally found in large quantities or concentrations here on earth, but lets face it this alone proves nothing of an extraterrestrial presence on earth nor does it disclose an origin of such activity no matter how much we would want it to.

Yes people see these anomalies, photograph blurred images, and are able to perceive disturbances during such encounters, but like the UFO phenomenon that we are talking about, that is all we have to make our case definite. In many cases people are just not ready or prepared for such events to happen because they can happen without warning and nearly always unexpectedly. I mean who walks around all day with a movie recorder or a camera draped around their necks all day long? The answer is no one does, although it might help, this is unreasonable isn’t it? On the other hand like described above, we do have events that are captured on video and by camera at times however, these images are almost always a blurred mess where photographs are concerned and the objects structure from the image we have is left up to each individual’s perception as to what it actually is. This is not proof at all it is pure and simple speculation. Talking about photographs, the only photos that were ever taken that myself as well as others believe to be the best photos ever taken of an unidentified flying object are the Trent photos taken in Oregon in the 1950’s. These photos are clear as glass with only a slight hint of any blurring. The saucer shaped craft that was photographed is astonishing and it has been studied for years and has never been ruled a hoax, even by the ‘Condon Committee’ a group depending on who you ask, that was put in to existence to debunk all UFO activity completely! This group researched this particular photo and report along with other UFO reports in the United States. Although it hasn’t been ruled a hoax and what we actually see in the photo is exactly what Mr. Trent saw and photographed through the view finder of his camera that day, no one will admit to its possible extraterrestrial origin nor to its legitimacy. We all know that aircraft such as the one in this photo did not exist in the 1950’s and neither does it today, but there it is in the photograph! How then can anyone denounce its existence? It is still listed with most all other photographs and reports that could not be labeled as a genuine hoax as simply an unknown. Why?

Lets look at another question about these Trent photos that needs to be addressed. How could the object in the photo be so clearly caught on camera in the 1950’s with the camera technology we had then compared to todays technology of optics with which we can not seem to muster anything other than a smeared, unfocused, unidentifiable photographic mess? These are serious questions we need to ask because it is pertinent to the phenomenon we are dealing with. Going back to the ghostly side of the paranormal world for a minute we know that many upon many images of so called ghostly apparitions are often blurred and distorted beyond positive identification which also leaves the human mind and imagination to fill in the gaps as to what we are actually observing. Could it be that the Trent ‘saucer’ had simply materialized completely at the exact time the shutter was snapped on the camera? It is possible. There have been however other photos made although rarely, of apparitions or ‘ghosts’ that are quite clear which leaves little speculation as to its origin. Entities or images of light which are almost always linked to the spirit world usually always have a greater chance of becoming distorted when either photographed or recorded due to the magnitude of the light emitted from the source as well as movement that is made by the witness upon its capture or the movement of the object itself. The numerous sightings over the years have proven this to be fact. So, you ask, what about the crystal clear photos we have such as the Trent photos? The answer returns to the physical ‘state’ of the object at the time it is photographed or recorded as stated above.

UFO’s like ghosts have been reported to change or ‘morph’ if you will right before an observers eyes. At most times transparency seems to be the state of such anomalies that are witnessed however this can change almost instantaneously. Reports of UFO’s that seem to ‘vanish’ right before an observers eyes only to reappear instantly and many times in a different location seems to have also change structure or solidity. Can it be possible that the phenomenon being witnessed is able to become invisible or visible physically and structurally to the naked eye at a moments notice or does it seem this way due to other factors as in the movement and behavior of the phenomenon seen? I know regarding the ‘orb’ object I observed in the middle 1970’s that this object would fade in and out in light intensity. At times the object would completely disappear only to re-appear in another location in the sky. Was this due to an actual disappearance of the object itself or was it related to incredible acceleration capabilities? UFO’s, if they are indeed solid interplanetary space craft have been described in theory at times as having a cloaking device installed onboard the craft that would allow beyond what we can understand and above our technology, the craft itself to appear to vanish when actually the solidity of the craft never changes. Such a cloaking device would seem feasible on an interplanetary craft of this sort. It would serve as a camouflage for the ship and crew upon physical threat, seems possible I think. On the other hand if UFO’s are not structured vehicles, as we know ‘structure’ to be here on earth then what are they? Are UFO’s and alien beings mere illusions? With reported physical interaction with actual witnesses I doubt that is the case at all.

I am not sure how many people do not believe or partake in believing in such matters as ghosts, spirits and the like, but I can tell you there are many that scoff at the UFO fact at hand. More people are willing from my observations, to believe in ghosts and things from the spirit world than they are to believe in UFO’s and aliens. To be honest they are more readily to accept pure fantasy than they are to even begin understanding the UFO enigma. The ‘why’ answer to this question is fit for another discussion because it entails much controversy and personal beliefs. The fact is though it is true. For me I guess because I have had experiences on both sides of the spectrum the fact is I believe in both equally. UFO’s have been a greater passion for my research mainly because the events I witnessed left a greater impact in my mind, which has grown throughout the years. Now after much study and analyzation I have become aware of both phenomenons possible relationship between one another. If UFO’s proved to be one in the same as ghosts and spirits would then more people believe? And why? This is left undetermined at the present.

To look at this subject in another light I think we have to be able to discern and to accumulate evidence from more and more UFO sightings as well as other unearthly phenomenon to relate their exact matching attributes and behaviors. Many events from the past hold much data that has been simply ignored not on purpose, but just simply because our paradigm of thinking has change since then and new insights have been contained by many hours of research and time. We can only uncover data and new information with the mindset and basic information modules that will enable us awareness to know to search other paradigms of any pertinent situation at hand. Maybe older UFO cases need to be reopened with our new outlooks and technologies. We may be able to discover things that were simply overlooked in the past simply due to a lack of reasoning and understanding.

Is the answer to the question simply that UFO’s and ‘spiritual’ phenomenons are not related? I do not think so. As a matter of fact I think this area of thinking is closer at getting us to the real truths behind UFO and alien visitations than any other method or hypothesis that has been conducted at any time. Maybe they are not related one hundred percent but I think there is a great argument that they relate in many obvious ways indeed as the reader can see clearly. What other information do we have that would disprove this? None. Truthfully we have much more evidence that supports this conclusion, than denounces it.

We can look at concrete evidence throughout history regarding what we call phenomenon. Phenomenon is simply an event or situation that we cannot explain with conventional methods learned or accessed here on earth. Phenomenon has been a part of society since time began. As humans have developed throughout the years and new and more complex situations have arisen we have been forced to further our inquiries and perceptions of things around us thus making some things categorized once as phenomena or ‘magic’ in years past a modern day luxury or common occurrence. The single act of educated research can transform phenomenon into fact. For instance, fire was once a phenomenon as well as ‘magical’ to early man. Now no one even gives it a thought. It is there and it is accepted. To early man however the gift of fire was utterly godly and mystical. Flight would be a phenomenon to early humans. No one ever believed or would believe that a man could ‘soar’ with the birds. Now flight is as advanced and used as much or more in many cases as automobiles are. We go about our business and think nothing of it at all but to early people it would be considered nothing short of magic. Is this also why early man considered the events they saw in the skies as godly? We now have the capabilities of leaving earth and exploring just outside our planets surface in space. The United States sent men to the moon and the first walk on its surface was in 1969. Many scientists through history denied that man could ever reach past the confines of our planet. Many called space flight a fantasy. If early man could witness such an act as well it would be surly categorized as unexplainable phenomenon to them. If a person or persons have no intelligent bases within the scope of their minds of what is taking place or how it is able to exist, it is pure and simple phenomenon but that does not mean it is fantasy. These events are actually happening but it may be out of mans psyche and mental capacity to understand it in the present time. Many events relating to our phenomenon today will be considered ‘normal’ in the future. As mankind continues to develop and educate he will open new doors that were never known to exist.

The spirit world exists. Fact. We can surf the web, read numerous books, and get first hand testimony to this fact. UFO’s exist. Fact. We have labeled them many different things such as UFO’s, UFOB’s, Flying Saucers, Flying Disks, and etc. but the fact is they are real no matter what we call them. They may be a part of the spirit world from another dimension as well as may be ghosts, spirits and what the Bible refers as angels. Angels? Yes angels. There is no difference in the spirit world folks. The Bible is riddled with these angelic beings. There are good ones as dealing with angels and there are evil ones as in demons or the angels that were cast down from heaven. Could UFO’s and the alien presence be related here? Definitely. We may be on the threshold of tying all three of these prominent phenomenon’s into one category of origin where UFO’s, ghosts, and angelic beings are concerned and there is nothing standing in the way of this path of study.

What will it take to focus more attention into the possibilities of UFO’s existing in the same paradigm of the spiritual world? A world we know as little about as UFO’s themselves yet we are able to accept more openly this area of thinking mainly because most all religions especially Christianity is based on a ‘spiritual’ context. People are able to accept parts of the Bible as dealing with a man named Jesus who was crucified and was resurrected from the dead in three days, but at the same time these same people refuse and scoff at the notion of other spirits, entities, and other supernatural events being able to take place. Why? I am not knocking Christianity or any other religion for that matter, I am a Christian but I also am intelligent enough to know that these facts need to come out so that we are able to see at what point and time we are putting our worldly blinders on regarding these issues. Being a Christian does not mean that we should not explore new areas or limit ourselves about the world in which we live! God gave us the intelligence to learn. We need to quit saying, “We need to be quite about this and that”, and start talking openly about what really is facing us because it is not going to just go away. It is as much part of our lives as anything else we do on an everyday basis. It involves you and me and no matter our religion or background we need to look at things on a greater scale, for our future is at stake.

We have looked at an interesting subject I think. I wrote this particular article because I feel it is warranted more than any other regarding the UFO phenomenon. Most researchers are still ‘searching’ the physical earth for ‘physical’ evidence that has never been found or proven to be from an extraterrestrial origin. Maybe that is because there isn’t any ‘physical’ evidence to be had? Humans can speculate until we are all blue in the face and we will be no closer to the truth that is really there…somewhere. We can continue to form silly little so-called ‘UFO Groups’ that do nothing but waste every ones time and dollars that make people think they are moving mountains in the way of UFO discoveries, or all legitimate researchers and interested people can join a unified team for rightful UFO disclosure. This is what it will take. In many ways we have begun to hinder ourselves regarding the facts we seek. To study any subject of interest or importance you first must be dedicated to the facts and that alone no matter how ‘silly’ it may sound in the beginning.  It is very easy to become sidetracked but focus and patience is the key. I am sorry for bursting many of your bubbles but I have to say that there is no one in the mainstream world that is going to ‘force’ UFO disclosure from any government at any time or in any place unless they offer the information on their own accord. It seems however at this time that full disclosure is not on the agenda. I do believe however that some minor information has been ‘leaked’ to the public over a period of years at the government’s request, however major events and information is well guarded with misinformation, gray propaganda, and extreme security and it is done to withhold the truth.

It is time for people to start thinking outside the box, to broaden their mind, to accept what to many is the unacceptable. Nothing in this universe is impossible. If we think something to be impossible on what grounds do we base these principles on? Did we design and build the universe in which we all live? Most certainly not, so how can we police or govern what is already in existence or what is possible to exist around us? Mankind wants nothing short of controlling every aspect of life around us, and when we decide we cant control certain areas of our world we brush it off as non existent or irrelevant to our lives. This is no way to make headway into our futures at all because the problems still exist and exist on a large scale and could be something that becomes a huge and insurmountable obstacle for our futures prosperity.

The cosmos is a big place, so big in fact our minds cannot fathom its farthest reaches nor can our technology reach it at the present. We cannot begin to study something without crippling complications and setbacks if we are unaware of exactly what we are dealing with. We can continue to search for more information however and the basis of an existing phenomenon, and until that point is reached we cannot make even a well-placed guess as to the composition of such matters. Mankind must work together as I have said earlier on one particular goal in common. This is the only solution we have.

So do UFO’s, aliens, and ghostly entities have a common bond? Seems likely. When we talk about ‘aliens’ possibly coming from outer space isn’t this part of the heavens the Bible describes? Aren’t these same heavens responsible for harboring angelic and demonic beings as well? The answer to both questions is yes. There has been reported that there are at least four dimensions within the universe that we live, possibly even more. The human being can only perceive three of these and anything outside the third dimension is totally out of our perception. I think many of the phenomenon we see are contributed by forces that can slip in and out of the dimensions that we can see at will. This is favored heavily with God, ghosts, angels and demons. Why not include UFO’s and aliens in this group of unknowns? I will bet they all tie in, how about you?

One of my best attempts at making a case for my conclusions above also comes from the Bible. I have written about it before and it is warranted to recap it here. The Nephilim a race of super human entities if you will, that were bread from entities of the spiritual world as with angels, with humans of earth. This joining of the two created the Nephilim, part man part spiritual entity or ‘god’ as many refer to them. The Bible speaks of this hybrid creature throughout its pages and is also a very interesting subject to explore. This theory would automatically join the UFO phenomenon with the ghost or spirit entity phenomenon described in this paper. Like I said many, many times there is a connection and this connection may also be connected closely with another offspring that we all are well aware of that is always right next to us, it is known as mankind. Essentially no matter how you look at it, and no matter where you stand on any of these subjects at hand we all share a cosmic bond that ties all creation together, and its that bond that drives us into a longing for exploration into the unknowns of the heavens before us.

Pranksters and Shallow Comments Not Good For Ufology

David P. Kuhlman, UFO Researcher / Book Reviewer / Writer

I was surfing the web for updated UFO sightings the other day and found a sighting that was reported as a hoax. I watched the video of the alleged incident as the news reporter gave a complete rundown of what had transpired. It seems that two men, one a science teacher, and the other a salesman from New Jersey, decided to play a prank on witnesses by fabricating an unidentified craft using balloons and road flares.

The flares were tied to the balloon, then ignited and sent aloft. After a few minutes the balloons had risen to a considerable height and could no longer be seen against the night sky, the only thing visible were the flares burning bright which gave the illusion of a possible UFO to witnesses. The pair then proceeded to film the whole incident as a genuine encounter.

I would like to acknowledge how immature and dangerous this act was knowing how these flares could have landed anywhere and started a fire on a nearby home or other combustible structure. I am glad that no one was injured physically, but there was immediate damage done to Ufology as a whole by this ignorant childlike prank. The initial damage was done by the construction and presentation of the object itself. How many times have elaborate UFO hoaxes been exposed to people to make them believe what they have seen is an actual sighting of a non terrestrial origin, only later to find out that the craft they had seen and reported with certainty was actually a gag perpetrated by some local school kids or adolescent adults who wanted to have some fun at other peoples expense? The answer is many times. This one particular act can make people that actually see something credible in the sky rethink the consequences of becoming a laughing stock to many if they report an incident that turns out to be an elaborate hoax, thus real sightings go unreported. In the UFO research group there have been many hoaxes and lies planted, usually by common people outside of the UFO circle itself. These people mentioned wanting a laugh, have tremendously complicated the real investigative paths of UFOs.

Yes, the investigation and research on the UFO phenomenon is already a complex one and we certainly do not need these types of fabrications to continue. They place much doubt about the true issues at hand in an already skeptical world. The whole UFO enigma is a serious one, possibly one of the most important issues of our time, and for people that want to interfere with its investigation there should be strict punishment to follow.

The second slap in the face that serious UFO research took from this perpetrated fiasco were words spoken on live television and replayed all over the internet for millions to hear. The news commentator took a live call from a high-ranking politician from New Jersey wanting his reactions to what had happened in his city regarding the hoaxed incident. As this man commented on the possibilities of injury that could have come from such an event as sending road flares up on balloons to hover around the city then landing and causing injury and even possibly death by igniting a fire on the ground below, we all could agree that this was an irresponsible act and injury surely could have been expected from such a event.

The comments regarding this event should have ended at this point. The news media had their story and we were confident and happy that no one was injured, but not so fast, another rock had to be thrown at Ufology just for good measure and for everyone to hear. The news anchor simply asked the politician the question of why he thought this hoax was initiated. The answers were of the sort that related to making people think they saw a real life unidentified object and as he gave reasons why these two men would do such a thing he boastfully said, " I mean, as far as the general public goes, no one really believes in UFOs anyway." Where did this comment come from? Why would this man make such a comment in the first place? Can he speak for an entire nation on not believing in UFOs? Perhaps this was just an opening for him to make the public feel ridiculous and incompetent for actually believing and reporting sightings of UFOs, just in case there is a sighting in the future that's not so easy to look over and that can not be blamed on a hoax. We also have to look at the possibility that he probably doesn’t have the first drop of information or education regarding UFO issues that have been around for decades, and he may be one of those shallow minded people that believes that what he cant see or hasn't seen cant possibly exist. Therefore all related sightings must be false now, or in the future.

No matter his excuse, or if he really doesn't have one due to his own shallow mindedness, this comment should have never been made. It is one thing to say, "I don't believe in something", and it is another to project that all people believe or should believe the way "I" do. No matter what though, I feel there are going to be those people that consistently debunk the entire UFO phenomenon no matter what the evidence at hand may be and history has shown this to be true. Lets stand up and show these people that there are people that truly believe that there is much substance and validity to the UFO situation at hand and that we are not afraid to address the issues that arise from such now, or in the future. We must be able to understand, yes, there probably will be people that may hoax or lie about information regarding UFOs, and their will be people who will try to discredit things just because they are ignorant to the facts as we know and see them as well. We have to stop letting comments that are unsupported by facts and comments taken out of context regarding what they truly are in reference to and throwing all of them in our discarded pile of nonsense. We who are educated on this subject know UFOs are something other than practical jokes and mistaken observations, our goal as true researchers and investigators is to find the hidden truths behind all the lies and to once and for all find the true origins of the remarkable objects we as humans have seen in the skies for centuries.

Roswell; Worthy Of Risking All The Evidence?

                                                                             By: David P. Kuhlman

For years now many people that regularly research and dabble in the mysteries involving UFOs and possible alien contact with humans have been vividly focused mainly on a single event that some say started it all, the Roswell Incident of July 1947.  Proclaimed ufologist as well as weekend thrill seekers interested in the subject of extraterrestrials all seem to have their own opinions about this legendary event. More times than not UFO researchers and enthusiast all end up commenting on Roswell no matter what their lecture begins with. It seems Roswell is the “Holy Grail” of ufology, as many now claim.

The study of possible extraterrestrials in our universe and having allegedly already visited our planet has a broad spectrum of information indeed. The uncovering and extraction of the pertinent information regarding this issue out of all of the manufactured information and reported lies is indeed a painstaking project in its own right. Since the July 1947 alleged crash of an alien craft in Roswell, New Mexico there have been numerous stories told. We have in fact been able to uncover legitimate and solid evidence through much research and interviews of some of the actual witnesses of the event, but to date we still do not have the complete truth.

We as intelligent humans are able to sort through the evident lies and misinformation to a degree, but it still leaves us with many unanswered questions that we are so desperately seeking. No matter the outlook regarding the UFO phenomenon, the topics covered, or the willingness or unwillingness to take part in its research, it seems when Roswell surfaces everyone wants to put in their two cents worth, believers and skeptics alike. The debate usually ends in a spit flying fiasco, every ones face is red, and the original topics surrounding legitimate UFO discussions are destroyed and no positive ground is gained. This type of serious debate, where everyone loses their cool and acts like a child does when his prized toy is taken away, must be put to rest. Why do we go to these kind of extremes over an incident that yes, may possibly hold water for the validity of an extraterrestrial presence for serious UFO researchers such as myself, but by the same token could possibly be totally unrelated in any way with extraterrestrials? The Roswell Incident has become, in my opinion, a huge stumbling block for ufology itself, and how we have become accustomed to think of Roswell as being the greatest single incident for the absolute proof of the validity of extraterrestrials could turn out to be the front-runner for total decimation and a total disregard of all the other hard and valid evidence we do have regarding the true nature of UFOs if we continue to allow Roswell to be the backbone of ufology itself. Lets look at the facts, until Roswell is proven exactly and without a shadow of a doubt to be related to an extraterrestrial presence we stand to discredit or tarnish all of our progressive research regarding UFOs as a whole if we allow Roswell to continues to be our “Holy Grail” and the forefront of alien proof, if in fact it is proven otherwise.

If so much stock wasn’t put in the Roswell event of 1947, then I feel that if it did turn out to be unrelated to an alien presence we would be able to say o.k. and move on to the next area of research within the field without consequence. We could accept that this event proved to be other than what we had originally thought in the early stages of research and would also be without the risk of a major setback in our past or future research. The point is we need to continue to focus on UFOs and all that this phenomenon involves over a broad spectrum and not use one particular event as our sole source or “role model” for information and the basis for all of our research. If in fact Roswell turned out to be of terrestrial origin all of the past and present critics and skeptics would sound in accord, “Told You So”, and since this event was our major playing card overshadowing all of our other “smaller cases” so to speak, they would certainly be dismissed as well. It would be a devastating blow from the standpoint of ufology in that people are really not going to believe or assist in the research of such UFO related cases in the future. We all know how difficult it is now to even mention this phenomenon to certain groups or individuals. I have read many books pertaining to Roswell and the events that transpired in 1947. I have read and listened to countless recorded and written transcripts from witnesses and family members of witnesses, I feel most are credible and I have no reason to believe otherwise. I do however feel that some parts of the Roswell Crash Story has possibly been misconstrued over time, something that is nearly impossible to avoid. I also know that the incident itself has been investigated with a fine tooth comb. Researchers and ufologist such as Stanton T. Friedman, Dennis Balthaser, Thomas Carey, Donald Schmitt, and Charles Berlitz have done amazing work regarding the overall collection of the evidence related to this now famous case. I commend each of them for their painstaking work in bringing out some of the truth to all of us regarding the issues of this monumental event. I hope as well that continued investigative work continues for the search for the evidence regarding all aspects of the validity of this case.

It has been sixty-two years; over six decades since the first reports were made that a rancher had found a strange debris field of unknown materials on the ground located at the ranch in which he worked. Soon it was released in the Roswell News Paper that what had been recovered by the RAAF was in fact a Flying Disk. Since that time there have been stories told, stories to cover other stories told, down right lies, hoaxes, misconstrued reports, forgotten dates and times, threats made, books written, movies made, interviews conducted, extensive researches done, and military cover-ups. It is evident that the real truth whatever it may be has been engulfed in a sea of politics and propaganda, we must continue to search for these truths that lie somewhere near what seems to be oblivion, but we must not allow The Roswell Incident to continue to be our “container” in which we place all of our knowledge and basis’s regarding ufology as a whole. For that container is lined with multitudes of impurities and the smell of a possible rat or two, and it is not the type of container you would want to place anything of great value that might get tainted or tarnished. The Roswell Incident may one day just simply prove not to hold water, and with that we will simply have nothing at all to contain the other evidence impure or not.

UFOs: Elementary Denials Explain Complex Reports?

By David P Kuhlman, UFO Researcher/ Book Reviewer/ Writer

There are indeed many avenues that lead to the ongoing investigation of unidentified flying objects, as we know them. Many different people from all over the world, from different backgrounds and professions have been at one time, introduced to this phenomenon, either by personal experience or through the numerous materials written on the subject. As it is, we have prominent people in prominent positions that regularly report such activities, as well as reports from people we refer to as run of the mill, ordinary folk.

Through all of these reports, no matter which community of people it comes from, there is still strong resistance to disregard the facts at hand, although there seems to be more of a reason to believe the reports of so called “qualified” or “trained” individuals, an issue I have great trouble with. Most people in any given situation know immediately if they see or experience something out of the ordinary, it does not always call for an experienced observer to relate these reports.

Years ago, in Georgia, I too witnessed something extremely out of the ordinary in the sky above. On two separate occasions in fact, I was not a “ trained” observer nor did I hold any special credentials regarding my professionalism that would make my report more credible than any other report during that time. But what I saw was real, very real. Actually, I was around six years old at the time of my first sighting, and around nine on my second! Even at this young age, I knew immediately what I had seen was truly a remarkable sight and something out of the ordinary. If I had reported what I had seen, especially at the ripe old age of adolescence, it would have been immediately disregarded as mundane, and the over reaction of a childs imagination, there is no doubt.

What if, lets say, a respectable adult who had spent three years in the United States Army, one year of which they had spent serving their country in a war overseas, had in fact witnessed what I had seen and then reported it to local authorities? What would happen then?  The adult would surely be classified as an experienced observer, wouldn’t you think? They also would have been very much up to date and familiar with all kinds of terrestrial aircraft, especially what the military had during this time period. Would this type of witnesses report have made a difference and warranted an investigation? The answer is simply, no! How can I be so sure that authorities wouldn’t have taken this report seriously from a well-seasoned adult who was just simply reporting what he had actually seen in the skies above over a young and gullible child’s story? I can be sure because my father is the adult in reference, and he witnessed the first sighting along with me (my grand father was also present) as well as making a phone call to the local radio station regarding what we had just seen, at which time he was asked without hesitation, “How much have you had to drink tonight?” Preposterous!!

We were visiting my granddad and grandmother at the time of this incident, and we were all sitting in the living room talking, watching TV, etc. and I was immediately tuned into a sound from outside, a sound I knew very well, the sound of a helicopter. As a young boy I was fascinated by airplanes and helicopters, as most adolescent males are. My dad, who had served a year in Vietnam for the United States Army, was well aware of the sounds that helicopters made as well as other aircraft. What caught my dads attention right away was the fact that we continued to hear the thumping sounds made by the rotors of a helicopter, me being a child; I didn’t pay any attention to the fact that the helicopter sound never faded off in the distance like it normally would if one had just randomly passed over the house. All I knew was that I heard a helicopter and was anxious to go and see.

Not thinking much of it, my dad and granddad took me outside to see the helicopter because I was becoming more and more anxious to go out and look. As we went out to look we made our way into the front yard for better viewing. The sky was cloudless and the view was unlimited, many stars could be seen as well against the night sky. Upon first glance I noticed there not to be one, but many helicopters flying around in sort of a circular flight pattern. I know my father and grandfather as well had noticed this unusual scenario. We could see the lights and the outline of the helicopters easily against the night sky, and the darkness of the sky was illuminated to an extent due to the lights from the nearby center of town. No markings of any kind were visible on the aircraft, simply due to the lighting outside. It seemed very odd to me at the time, or I guess you could say I was very much at a surprise and extremely excited to see not just one helicopter, but five.

The next thing I remember is nearly simultaneously hearing my granddad ask, “What in the world is that?” and me seeing what my dad had also just caught a glimpse of. There was, a light, it was about as large as a Baseball held at arms length, and it was moving very slowly and totally silent. The light would at times, flicker almost like we see stars do at night, but this was very different. This object immediately grabbed all of our attentions. The round ball of light would flicker and pulsate like a strobe light would, and at times it would completely disappear right in front of our eyes only to reappear in another section of the sky. This especially amazed me as it would any already very excited and curious child of six years. The object would constantly change color from a blue to a white, and it would hover in one place, move at a snails pace and then “jump” from one section of the sky to another all the while, these helicopters were trying their best to keep pace with it. The object was playing a game of “cat and mouse” it seemed with these helicopters, it was defiantly responding and interacting intelligently with every move or maneuver that each helicopter made or attempted!

We had watched in amazement for about ten minutes, as the object continued to “toy” with the obvious mismatched and ill equipped helicopters. Today, I can liken this match up to what would be expected from a blimp trying to keep pace with, and to out maneuver a Stealth fighter. The technology and ability of that object was that incredible. As we were continuing our jaw dropping aerial encounter, the object performed another maneuver that was just as incredible as all of the rest. The object, silently moving along from east to west, with the helicopters trying to follow, suddenly stopped. The object sat still for about, I would say ten seconds, and as the helicopters seemed to try and circle the object, the object without sound, went from its standing position in the sky to almost an instantaneously rate of blinding speed out of sight. I have never nor has my father, to date, seen anything that could move at that rate of speed, vanish, reappear, and turn at right angles without regard to speed, again. During conversations through the years with my father this incident and our recollections of that amazing night still comes up. My grandfather, who passed away in 1979, was totally astonished by what we had seen that night. Right after the event he said, “ I don’t believe in anything other than what I can see, so now I have to believe in the impossible.”

The events surrounding that night were never reported to the public, as far as any printing or broadcasting goes. No other eyewitnesses were ever known to have come forward or had made a report either, and if they did they were probably made to feel stupid or incompetent, the same tactic that was used on my father. I have conducted a large amount of research recently into this event and have come up empty handed. This is par for the course though for sightings such as these. Credible sightings made by credible people, with credible and honest inquiries on something that has made a huge impact on the very minds of ordinary people, seem to be casually “lost” or discarded by people unknown. Somewhere though there are individuals who are very much aware of this particular incident, and they are also aware of that objects origin and its highly developed capabilities. If no one else on the ground that evening saw this event other than my father, my grandfather, and myself, I know for a fact that it was observed by other individuals, the pilots of those five helicopters.

What does it take for the plague of denial to be eradicated on issues and events reported such as these? There are many incidents reported today all over the world that are very much similar to the event my family and I had witnessed. People are constantly being turned away and made to feel inadequate about actual events that they have witnessed. Who gives a select few of people the right to discredit, ridicule, and ostracize other normal and trustworthy people that are simply concerned about the world and the events associated with it in which they live? The answer is simply; no one has the right to conduct such an act. The harsh truth though is that in happens, and it has happened throughout the years regarding these types of aerial phenomenon reports.

I have a very hard time with closed and shallow minded people, especially when it comes to the subject of UFOs and the possibility that these objects that are reported all over the globe could in fact be intelligently controlled as well as controlled by other forms of life with in our universe. The time for the end of ridicule, closed minds, shallow treatment, and downright chastisement has come. I have in the past, had people question me and my validity regarding the witnessed incident stated above in a manner I knew was more than just healthy skepticism, a manner in which carried much sarcasm as well as premeditated denial of the facts at hand. I have not, and I certainly will not, tolerate such a disposition. I know what I saw, I know it wasn’t anything from this earth or on this earth that I had ever seen or have seen, nor have I ever been acquainted with such a sight again in thirty-two

years. The same goes for my father and my grandfather up until the time of his death. I am steadfast in my beliefs on the issues at hand regarding the UFO phenomenon, I am however open to new ideas and possibilities regarding the possible origin and nature of these anomalies, I mean, conducting research on any topic requires the researcher to keep a clear and open mind on the factual and possible evidence in order to get a more focused and a better grasp, or understanding, of the study at hand in which could in turn be used for a possible anecdote for the cure of the unknown portions of his/her research.

For the record, I am in no way saying that it is fact that space aliens are responsible for these anomalies, that is something our research has been trying to uncover for years and I am in no position to make such a claim. Through our research and with more support rather than resistance from lay people, I feel we have a good chance though of finding the answers we seek, with or without the help or support from our government. It is fact that something is here among us on planet Earth, whether it be a flesh and blood intelligent creature, as we know of, that could produce and possibly already has produced tangible evidence to prove its existence, or something from another dimension coinciding with the spirit world that we could never have, or have the means to obtain tangible evidence of, but the unavoidable fact is, no matter what you choose to believe, we are being interacted with by some unknown, unfamiliar, force…period.

Since the governments of the countries that we live under aren’t complying at all, as with the United States Government, or only to a certain extent, as with other countries, regarding our continuous demands on the disclosure of all of the evidence at hand regarding the UFO phenomenon, it is my personal opinion that these elected individuals be omitted from the equation when ever possible. We have continually barked up the “government tree” for years to no avail. All we have gotten is the same continuous, useless, and more times than not, simply mundane explanations. When do we as civilized and intelligent people say enough is enough? Yes it would be very helpful indeed if we had the full compliance and support of our great nations to assist on such matters. These organizations may in fact have the “smoking gun” evidence we so desperately seek, but if they are not going to be willing to assist us in our quest for the truth, then we will certainly not be in any worse shape than we already are regarding pertinent evidence on UFOs if we just simply disregard the statements that are made on this issue by the government, and continue our research on a non political and informal approach.

The information, if one looks back through all of the information released to the public regarding these issues, have been tainted and twisted. This has been done on purpose by the higher authorities to confuse and limit the amount of actual truth one may find. It is hard to separate fact from fiction after the initial story has been run through the misinformation gauntlet initiated by these officials. We as researchers and avid ufologist are wasting much time sorting through the misinformation and out right lies fed to us by the government; all the while we are losing valuable time and possible pertinent information on the actual issues at hand. If at all possible, we can rightly say that the governments under which we live will continue to try and divert our attention away from the true aspects regarding UFOs, the past proves this to hold true. The study of this phenomenon is a complex one indeed, and we certainly need to stop making it more difficult by choosing an alternate path for credible information. It frustrates me, as I’m sure it does many others that have a desire to know the truth, to be fed lies and elementary explanations.

If one will just take a minute to look at some of the explanations shoved down our throats by the government in regards to very credible encounters, you should see how mundane and nauseating these explanations truly are. One of the most ridiculous explanations for an unidentified object observed in the sky that I have ever heard of is the object being confused with the planet Venus! This explanation has been used not just once, but many times regarding credible sightings of moving, yes moving, aerial objects! I am sorry, but this is unacceptable, even for a child! Yet we allow these types of explanations to go on. Simple and elementary explanations given to truly extraordinary events are not acceptable, nor are they even worthy of our acknowledgment. What went wrong with each and every individual on this planet having their own mind and the ability to be able to reason for themselves whether something has credibility or not? Humans have the God given intellect to be able to perceive, acknowledge, reason, plan, and categorize, each and every event that one encounters on a daily basis, yet we have become accustomed to allowing other people to do it for us. We, at times, seem content to have other individuals outside of our own persona, to be at the controls of our cognitive and intellectual psyches. We allow them to steer us in the way they would have us to go, and we never question our destination. We have, in some sense, become merely a tool or device controlled from a distance where we are allowed only a mere glimpse of the realities and actualities of the world in which we live.

People have asked me many times, including my wife and friends, “Why are you so interested in UFOs and aliens?” I have never really put an “exact” on the reasons regarding this question. I do know however the sightings I had as a child, especially the one regarded in this writing, had most to do with my interest in the subject. It is hard to say that if I had not experienced what I had over thirty years ago, if I would be in fact so dedicated to this matter, I feel the answer is yes, I would be interested in this subject, but maybe not as dedicated. As I became older I always had the memory of that experience in the back of my mind, and I have always been infatuated and curious about possible life other than humans in our universe. As a child going through school I was always interested in Science, especially anything that related to space and our universe. So it would be safe to say, yes, that this passion I have for UFOs and the disclosure of their true origin has much to do with my experiences.

I know there are also people within the UFO research and study group that have never seen anything whatsoever related to a UFO, but they are avid researches on this issue. These people I hold in very high regard throughout the ufology community for the simple reason that they understand that there is more on the “outside of the little box” that we all live than on the inside. These people welcome the chance to explore outside of what they know and see, a place many people refuse to venture, they choose to explore and study because they understand the true definition of science and that we live in a complete scientific world, and that it can bring with it many new and fascinating paradigms as well as knowledge that will continue to guide all of mankind into the future.

One does not have to be of very high intellect to comprehend the basis in which all researchers on UFOs base their claims. There are many upon many things around us everyday that go unseen by us through the naked eye, but does this mean it is not happening? Hardly. One does not have to see to believe, regardless of what many say, but rather through the preponderance of the evidence provided we can have enough sufficient evidence that lays claim to such existence. The only tools we must have to look at the evidence objectively is the ability to have an open mind, and not to discard anything until we ourselves have looked at and studied the evident facts before us.

I truly believe that what we are experiencing regarding so-called unidentified flying objects and what we have in turn labeled as the UFO phenomenon, holds much reality in most all of its acquired information. At the time being, we need patience and much persistence in our push towards total understanding and disclosure. We also must not allow our dignity and our possible future endeavors in any forthcoming attempt to yield the truth to be controlled or maimed by individuals that want nothing but secrecy and falsified information made known to us on an issue that may have dire implications to our own personal future as well as possibly handicapping an entire race of people.

Lack of Evidence Regarding UFOs May Be “Smoking Gun”

UFO, these three letters in sequential order raise much question, speculation, and attention from human beings all over the entire globe, as well as much ridicule and outright misinformation. It is though, without a doubt, three letters recognized by all instantly. The UFO phenomenon has been with us since recorded history and probably even before. What is it that we as humans cannot seem to grasp regarding this subject? Why do people feel so strongly about this subject’s misinterpretations and origin? Is it because so much secrecy and misinformation exists at its very forefront, or is it in fact due to the lack of hard evidence?  It is very possible that both factors contribute with equal influence.

Lets explore for a moment the subject of UFOs and all of the information that streams in along with it. Through our journey, lets take an educated look at what possibilities this phenomenon may hold, as well as what it may not. People all over the earth are at least hearing information regarding these anomalies whether or not they take them seriously and to heart is an entirely different matter all together. There are so many misconstrued factors that blend in with this subject regarding possible origins; credibility of the witnesses, or just the simple notion that these reports are no more than outright lies perpetrated by ordinary pranksters.

What is a UFO as we call them? Must we ask this question at all? There seems to be however some confusion regarding this question, so lets take a look. A UFO is simply an unidentified aerial object that is witnessed by an observer that cannot be rationally explained outside of an object we are familiar with on this planet on a daily basis. These sightings take place all over the world and are certainly not limited to any one place on planet earth. They are seen by millions of people, day and night in the skies above, in large bodies of water (USO’s), as well as in some cases on the ground. These sightings have been witnessed by men, women, and children and have also been accused of causing disruptions in the animal world as well. What the term UFO does not mean however as many have come to believe, is that it automatically refers to an interaction with aliens from outer space. Nothing could be further from the truth. (‘Alien’ is simply a word to describe a foreign being from outside of our own center of inhabitance; therefore it does not mean that this creature is in anyway different in physical structure than we are nor does it mean that this creature is from another planet in outer space.) In some instances however these anomalies that are reported have been proven to leave behind physical evidence of their presence, such as burn marks and impressions on the ground, as well as actual human injuries that were sustained, usually in the form of burn marks or discolorations on an observer’s skin, that has come too close to the reported object. This would certainly point to an actual physical object or craft, as many have reported, which possibly could be manned by intelligent creatures other than humans, but we still have no proof of this in front of us. We have however thoroughly investigated such incidents and as far as evidence, or traces of evidence, left by these objects along with the eyewitness’s stories, some credibility that may point to outer space intelligence has been found.

One such encounter that sticks in my mind that is supported by hard and some physical evidence of a UFO encounter, other than just verbal testimony of a witness alone, is that of Vicki Landrum and Betty Cash in 1980. This incident has become known as the “Piney Woods Incident” and it took place one evening near Huffman, Texas. All of the witnesses to the object that night suffered radiation type burns to their skin. Betty Cash who sustained the worse of these burns, due to her closer proximity to the alleged object due to her standing nearly under it, suffered cancer in the near future afterwards, she finally lost her bout with the disease. The truth regarding this incident still remains firmly undetermined and covered by silence by anyone other than the actual witnesses themselves. Before Betty’s death both parties tried to no avail, to find out the origin and information regarding this event, and the government continues to deny of its existence to this very day. Another well-documented encounter was that of Police officer Lonnie Zamora in Socorro, New Mexico, which left behind landing type impressions on the ground, as well as an increased radiation level at the exact site where he had reported a UFO had landed. This case was well documented and there also was no reason to discredit officer Zamora’s claims, however this incident too was never proven. There are also many other incidents in which trace evidence has been left at the site of a reported UFO sighting. From the physical evidence found at such sites, this would in fact point a finger in the direction of whatever had left such evidence, as being an actual solid or tangible object of some design. There are though, just as many or even more reported sightings that physical evidence is never found, but does this mean that these reports should be discarded? I do not think so.

Just because we do not have tangible evidence relating directly to an observed and reported UFO, does not mean it hasn’t happened. To look back, the objects that have been reported and that have also left some sort of clue of its existence other than a verbal report, are still denied. If this is the case, and it certainly has been, then a reported sighting without any trace evidence should be just as credible, don’t you think? Not many times are these objects reported to land on the ground, or to get even close enough to it to leave charred or disrupted vegetation on the surface. Though it has happened. Most times these objects that are reported by so many people all over the world, are simply observed hovering or flying through the sky moving at great speed or making erratic movements. In this case there will be nothing tangible to relate to its presence after it has left the area. Radar however, is at times a tool that is able to pick up and track an unidentified flying object that has entered certain airspace, then again, sometimes the object that was verified from the ground never is even shown by radar. Regarding these types of encounters with so-called UFOs such as the type of report that has with it tangible evidence, no matter how much, and the reports that we have no tangible evidence of at all, not even a radar verification, they seem to always fall together in the same category. Neither of these reports seem to carry any more weight than the other, at least as far as our government is concerned or are they really categorizing such reports only to make us believe they are of no importance?

As we can see, we are unable to use any of the above-described reports, no matter what they have involved as far as trace evidence is concerned. We seem to be always just out of reach of obtaining critical evidence on our own before higher officials seize the evidence or disrupt the scene. Why is this always the outcome? It has been reported however that indeed some civilian people at different times, have recovered evidence in the form of possible debris left behind from reported crash sites of UFOs throughout the years, only to have those pieces of evidence taken from them physically, as well as threats being made to the people that had it to never talk about what went on. Boy, actual evidence in a civilians hands, recovered just before authorities were able to arrive on the scene first? That is plenty of time to take some of these pieces and store them away, completely out of sight from these menacing crash retrieval crews of our government, so later, after all has quieted down, I will still have my evidence that I found so that I can myself, gawk at it over and over knowing this possibly came from somewhere other than here, and later I will have proof to show the entire world of the actual existence of these anomalies through the evidence I have had hidden for years! Sounds like a great plan, as well as it not being very difficult to put this plan into motion, don’t you think? Yet… no evidence. There was talk of some of the evidence or debris, if you will, that was “stored away” in this exact manner. It was hidden away; way before the authorities could manage to respond to the crash in regards to the Roswell crash, yet this material was turned over to authorities much later just because of verbal threats that were allegedly made to the person or persons having the pieces! I’m sorry, but I don’t buy this story at all. For the ones that think this account is factual about the handing over of this debris to authorities well after it had been hidden, as well as the authorities having no possible way of proving that the person or persons had it in the first place, is ridiculous! However, if you do choose to buy into and believe this then you would also probably attempt to buy into the notion that you could make millions of dollars selling raincoats in the Sahara Desert! Get real folks! The true fact of the matter probably lies in that there never was any so-called debris gathered by civilian individuals or other that had been stored or hidden. Why hide something with the intent on keeping it, only to turn it over to the ones your hiding it from just because some threats were made? I mean, there were many who claimed to be threatened, but they never had to “produce” anything they were hiding, and how would anyone know they were hiding anything in the first place? It makes absolutely no sense, and it never will.

People, lets please stop saying, “Oh he had”, or “She had at one time”, it does not begin to uncover anything about the phenomenon at hand. If anything it makes the UFO phenomenon and the true facts we do have, as well as all the credible people involved on a serious inquiry, look like the little boy does in school when he tells his teacher, “Oh, I did all of my homework and it was so easy! I placed it in my book bag, but when I got up this morning it wasn’t in there, I think my mom lost it!” The teacher, being intelligent and with just as much common sense as the next person, knows just like all of the sensible researchers do regarding possible tangible alien or saucer evidence, that debris, tangible evidence of any sort, or in this little boys case, his homework that he stated was done and was easy for him, does not simply disappear without a trace, nor was any other person responsible for its disappearance! It just makes no possible sense at all. The little boy simply didn’t do his homework that night, but he wants everyone to think he did it and that it was easy for him as well, although he wished now he had done it, or at least tried to due to the consequences to follow. For the same reasons the witnesses to a crashed object which they knew was something truly out of the ordinary immediately, in which there where multitudes of debris that had been strewn all over the ground in the form of large and small pieces, these people simply did not confiscate one single piece of it, although they wished they had in hindsight due to knowing now they had proof right in front of them of other possible intelligence in our universe, and all they had to do was to get a single sliver of it, the minutest piece for study mind you, which would probably fit in a persons pant pocket, but they did not.  Later on, to make them feel better about not taking the initiative and confiscating the debris, which they had thought of doing immediately through their own common sense, they used a cover story to explain its disappearance, all the while still taking credit for having been at the site and trying to “hide” some of the evidence for later study only to “lose” it to a higher authority much, much, later. Hogwash!

If there were irrefutable evidence held by ordinary people, ordinary meaning outside of the governmental ranks, as are civilians, the evidence would have been retained by these individuals, there is no doubt in my mind. They would have guarded this evidence and they also would have kept silent about its existence, at least until they had a clear path to present such material and proof without the need to “hide” its true origin. The evidence would have been “leaked” out so to speak by this point in time as well. There have been documents “leaked” into the publics’ hands in recent years regarding details of much secrecy in the past dealing with UFOs and the organizations that were in place to deal with such issues, that I feel are legitimate, due to the researchers credibility’s who have studied the material, and the final reports they have come to a conclusion on regarding these documents. Although, we certainly cannot be one hundred percent sure of the legitimacy of these materials, we do have them in “tangible” form, and they are here for our study, and they have already gone through a gauntlet of critics to date. Although some of these documents that have been produced to the public have been shown to be an elaborate hoax, the majority of these materials have yet to be determined fraudulent and they probably never will be due to the very real fact that they are truly genuine. No, I do not believe that there is in existence any “tangible” or anything outside of “printed” materials regarding positive evidence of any “crashed saucer” or other “craft” for that matter, being harbored by anyone outside of the people we live under authority to. Maybe they don’t have any other evidence either. It is very possible that they don’t have any as well as it’s possible that they do. So lets face it, the fact is we have no solid proof for either argument at this point. All that we do have are the “verbal” testimonies, multitudes of “blurred” photographs, and many of the “out of focus” videos from possible first and second hand witnesses that some consider as irrefutable evidence. This is not the evidence we need to base a factual claim to all.

Recently there has been much controversy regarding the so-called telegram that can be seen being held in the left hand of General Roger Ramey from a photograph that was taken soon after the incident at Roswell. The photograph in reference is well known all over the world, it was taken of him in his office along side remnants of what is a genuine Rawin radar target that had been supposedly substituted for the actual disk debris found at the Roswell crash site. This “staged” photograph was done supposedly to cover the initial report of a “crashed saucer” reported by Colonel Blanchard to the media. In the photograph it was noticed that some of the typing on the telegram held by Ramey could be seen so an investigation was conducted on the paper from the photo at this time. Through computer enhancements and great study using modern day technologies, a man named David Rudiak has come to a conclusion that many of the words typed on this paper can be seen and that they relate directly to and correspond with the actuality of an actual flying disks crash. Again, this evidence is in “print” and “paper” form, but could it actually be genuine? Could have General Ramey been so careless as to take a genuine document with him proving the actuality of a crashed disk into a photo, that later may have been seen by many which was taken for the purpose of discrediting this entire event in the first place? If these studies on the telegram hold true then that may be the exact reality of it. Researchers have been searching for the “smoking gun” evidence desperately, and many feel this may possibly be it, but again we are still left with the gap for opinions to be made on this evidence due to not being able to say for sure in regards to its credibility because of the uncertainty of the entire telegrams contents. I have seen this telegram myself as well has many others. I have also read a great deal of the concepts used and approaches made on the actual research completed by David Rudiak. Unlike the air forces response to the telegram where they state “Nothing can be seen”, I think there are words within that have been deciphered correctly as many other would agree also, but the majority of its contents is covered and completely out of site in the photograph, as well as some of the conclusions made on the deciphered words that you can see may be nothing more than a mere guess. More work needs to be done if at all possible, but it seems we may be just out of reach again of the true evidence we need so desperately.

While we are on this tangent about recovered debris from an “unknown” object that many upon many claim was actually a crashed alien saucer, in regard to the one in Roswell, New, Mexico in 1947, we know through witnesses that the government immediately got underway a clean-up crew to the crash site, this is typical regarding the reports made by numerous witnesses at possible crash sites all over the world. The crew conducted a full-scale recovery mission of all of the alleged debris from an area about three hundred feet long and forty to fifty feet wide. These “soldiers”, and I say this because they were of military origin, gathered all of the debris that was laid out all over the ground. After the initial clean up the government sent other crews to retrace the foot steps of the earlier group to see if they could find any material that may have been overlooked.

We know this happened, how? From eyewitnesses for one, as well as former members of the military who have come forward after many years to say they were involved at some level in these events. The government has not denied this either, except that they commented they were picking up pieces of balloons and other related materials that came back to earth after they were sent aloft by them during the conduction of secret military projects at that time such as projects “Excelsior” and “High Dive.” The report given to us by the United States Air Force can be read in its entirety in the publication “Roswell, Case Closed” submitted to the public by the air force. I for one see too many gaps and wrong dates and times of the alleged “crash” at Roswell, coinciding with the dates and times of these so called “projects”, as well as other incidents regarding the conduction of these events, that simply do not add up within the allotted time frame. I see this report by the air force to be what it surely looks like it to be, a last ditch effort and a “panic response” to keep the public from the real truth that we are so close to at the present. The information regarding the crash of some sort of a “solid” object seems very credible, don’t you think? Personally, I believe an object of some substance did crash at Roswell as reported by authorities, although I am not convinced of what was found. Also, I truly believe that these people performing these cleanups under strict orders I’m sure were not even aware of what they were actually picking up at the time or even where it had come from.

The difficult perspective I have and there may be others that have it as well, is that after the military had completed their entire recovery battery of the Roswell site many civilian people outside the governmental ranks conducted their own search for possible evidence that may have been overlooked by the militaries efforts. The type people that searched this area included researchers of the UFO phenomenon, as well as amateur and professional archeologists, scientists from different disciplines, and many reporters. The odd thing to me is that nothing, not even closely resembling anything of unearthly nature was ever found. Yes, some small pieces of debris were uncovered at or near the site mentioned, but all had an earthy as well as a common explanation. Sixty-two years later people still search the site and nothing has ever turned up. This is the very hardest thing for me to swallow out of all of the information provided. Yes, the government “swept” and "vacuumed” the area as it is said, completely combing the area not once, but many times, but a single piece had to survive didn’t it? The odds are very much in its favor. An object that crashes to the earth, as this one was reported to have done, and to also have “cut” a path into the earths soil upon impact pushing dirt, rocks, and anything else away in its path on its way to a final resting spot, should have and would have sent many upon many pieces of shrapnel and materials far from the actual initial crash area, even if the craft in suggestion was built much more rigid and with greater tolerances to that which we can build here on earth. The initial debris field was long and wide as reported by Mac Brazel and Jesse Marcel, and there was debris seen scattered all over the whole area, so we know this craft came apart upon impact with the ground spewing debris everywhere, but the debris field, even though the majority was contained to one certain area, other debris most certainly would have been thrown wildly and in places you would hardly ever expect. Wouldn’t they? Since we have had time to look at this fact, many have conducted their search efforts to this effect, haven’t they? Still, not one scrap or scrap of a scrap has ever been found again. This makes no logical sense, unless the small pieces that have been found at the crash site many years later that were analyzed and found to be of common earthly materials were in fact related to that night of July 1947. If this could be proved then our “disk” search should have ended years ago.

We have looked at the UFO phenomenon so far with some very inquisitive and credible inquiries regarding “hard” or “tangible” evidence to support our claims of possible alien intelligence of some sort visiting us on earth. We do have plenty of verbal reports as stated above, but they seem to be plainly overlooked usually regarding credibility issues, we do have some minor physical traces being left however, either on the earths surface itself as well as on rare occasions being left on individuals in certain very rare circumstances. We have also looked at reports of actual solid objects of unknown origin striking the ground and leaving numerous amounts of debris behind, the type of material we so desperately need for our proof, yet we are unable to produce one speck of what we speak of. The excuses we seem to take refuge in to hide our inconsistencies are along the lines of adolescent excuses such as, “Its someone else’s fault, that’s why I don’t have it” or “I don’t know what happened.” These types of excuses made by supposedly “mature” as well as professional adults are inexcusable. Until we can find the knowledge with in us that is needed or by which means or avenues we should travel to get to the knowledge we require to reach the physical evidence we so desperately seek, we are standing still in our efforts. There is though another possible explanation regarding UFOs and aliens that would almost if not totally disregard the need for physical evidence altogether because there may in fact not be any to find.

We are well accustomed to our world in that we are able to see and evaluate our surroundings because of it simply being always right in front of our faces. We as humans have learned to only believe in what we can see or what we have been taught by others since childhood. When these sets of values or learned beliefs are compromised, we literally lose or feel like we lose complete control of our “familiar” world. We tend to “clam up” instantly due to unfamiliar territory, usually fear is associated with this action and it continues to exacerbate the situation in which we need to take control of. I have touched on these issues before in some of my writings, but let me briefly comment on the most important aspects of this human response. Humans are all about themselves, and we like… no, we live to be in control of not just our lives, but of every other aspect of life around us. If we are not found to be the only intelligent species in this entire universe, I think it would suffice to say we are still going to be the most inconsiderate sort as well as maintaining our dominance as being the most territorial and hostile species in existence. Humans constantly embark and push their way into other peoples lives, we get involved with propaganda as well as forming individual groups or “cliques” that form a boundary around each of us, and we use these tactics for what we desire most of all, power and control. There is with no doubt in my mind the reality of another species of intelligence among us already whether it is of “flesh and blood” or something that turns out not as easy to explain that would nearly make it impossible to get the “tangible” or “solid” evidence that we all seek so desperately. What if what we all seek is from another time, place, or dimension? You say, huh? Yes this is possible, isn’t it? This would surely explain in its entirety why we are unable to produce the hard evidence we need. We have affixed the name alien with these anomalies all along because we have just assumed that they are from another planet, but we defiantly have no proof of this whatsoever. Why can’t these creatures or entities be labeled as ghosts or spirits, or do we not partake in believing this matter either? Think about it for a minute.

I find it very possible as well as very interesting that these two, what seem to be separate groups of anomalies, could go hand in hand. Why not? Like I said maybe you don’t believe in “ghosts” and that is totally your right not to believe, but if you already buy into the UFO phenomenon what then is a possible explanation that you may have to contribute regarding the origin of UFOs? People say “Oh, that’s impossible” or “There is no way that could be true”, yet they give no reasons to back up the beliefs they hold so dearly to. It makes no sense, other than like I have said before, people are simply afraid of and do not want to face anything that’s not simply black and white, they dare not venture towards the dreaded gray area because it holds for them the presence of the unknown, yet it is there and it is still affecting us regardless of what one believes to be true. Lets say for instance that a person goes to the doctor and is diagnosed as having cancer. The person should not simply turn a deaf ear to such information, should they? The cancer is there, the person cant see it neither might they even be able to feel it, but the doctor has told you its there and something needs to be done now. Regardless though the person turns a deaf ear to the doctors advice not listening to anything about their condition, sort of a out of sight out of mind type situation, but all along the cancer grows and grows but they continue to deny anything is there and the person surely doesn’t return to the doctor because they know deep down he is going to tell them the hard truth that they have so blindly pushed aside in the beginning and they simply will not face it. Finally the cancer has spread all over and it is slowly consuming their life. The fear and desperation at this point is unavoidable, it is much worse now than it would have been in the early days of this unwelcome news if they just had pushed through the initial shock and fear of the untimely diagnosis and had made an admirable attempt to seek treatment…but now its much too late.

Real situations faced by us in life do not simply go away by our choice of simply overlooking them. They do in fact stand to lie un removed and out of our physical sight due to the numbing and immobilizing effects on our minds ability to react with authority due to fear. These situations can and will exacerbate to a level that is too big for us to handle in the future even if we finally choose to face it out of sheer desperation nearer the end. If we do choose to confront these issues later on we have usually lost our normal ability to reason clearly due to the overwhelming circumstances we now face at a greater level. We now are in a position where our good judgment and proper analyzation skills are greatly diminished, so our late efforts regarding the issues at hand only bring more uncertainty as well as more and more fear and nothing is accomplished.

We all need to take a good look at ourselves and also at the world in which we live in. Are we ready for the answers we so strongly portray to want to find? I think most of us could handle the out right facts regarding UFOs as well as some of the universes most hidden answers. On the other hand the majority of the people that use the tactics of denial no matter what the proof at hand is, would be totally consumed and destroyed by the facts of other intelligence other than our own no matter what their origin. If in fact these “entities” as I will now refer to them, are not of “flesh and blood”, or of a “spiritual” nature, could they be in fact something in between the two as many have come to the conclusion of including Erich Von Daniken and Zecharia Sitchin? These entities are known as the Nephilim, translated in Hebrew as “giants” or “ causing to fall”, they are also mentioned many other times in the Bible as well as the Dead Sea Scrolls and they are referred to as the Emim, meaning “terrors”(Genesis 14:5;Deuteronomy 2:10), Rephaim, meaning “weakeners” or “Dead Ones” (2 Samuel 23:13; 1 Chronicles 11:15), Gibborim, or “Giant Heroes” (Job 16:4), Zamzummim, or “Achievers” (Deuteronomy 2:10), Anakim, or “Long-necked”, (Deuteronomy 2:10; Joshua 11:22, 14:15), “Sons of God”(Genesis 6:2) and Awwim or “Devastators” and “Serpents.” The Nephilim are said to be of a hybrid creature or an offspring created by the joining of a spiritual realm entity and a human being. After these so called “Sons of God” had initiated intimate relations with human women, they were cast down to the earth from heaven to dwell forever. (Genesis 6:1-4.) If these entities turn out to be the true cause of these ongoing sightings regarding UFOs and aliens, then this surely would in fact prove the reasons we are unable to recover the “solid” evidence we all seek. Although there are some “trace” evidence that has been found this can be explained regarding the type of entity we would be dealing with. The Nephilim would be in part half human and half spiritual, or “gods” as these types of spirit identities are sometimes referred to. If this were the case we would definitely be able to recover some portions of evidence regarding their visitations, because like them, they are partly of this world in a solid or materialized form. As for the spirit or “godly” portion of their construction and existence, we would be unable to put our hands on anything tangible or solid due to its formulation to exist in the spiritual realm, but we certainly would be able to see it in most cases. This makes complete sense to me, and I feel it is one of the best explanations of why we are unable to recover the “smoking gun” evidence of the existence of an actual flesh and blood being, as well as being unable to physically touch a solid craft type object. The human origin or the physical makeup side of these visitors which we can see and touch is due to the fact that they exist within our own time, space, and dimension that we are created to live in, thus enabling us to interact and manipulate such evidence at will.

There are some books I would like for you to consider reading on the topics covered in this paper. I feel they are very well written as well as being written from a non-biased or misleading standpoint regarding the UFO phenomenon. I learned much from the contents of both writings, and I think you will also. “Alien Encounters”, written by Chuck Missler is the first recommendation on this topic. This book is a very exciting read as well as informative. It covers the Nephilim as I have briefly touched on earlier, and it explains the reasons and possibilities that this explanation could very well possibly hold the solution to all UFO mysteries. The other book “The UFO Experience Reconsidered: Science and Speculation”, written by Robert L. Mason, is also a well written piece on the possibilities that may hold true on space travel and possible technologies we are not aware of if in fact we are dealing with “living beings” from another place in our universe. The book gives us well researched and thoroughly explained reasons why another race of intelligent beings could be thousands or even millions of years in advance regarding technology and space travel as we know it.  Also, the Bible has many passages regarding the Nephilim. You can get a complete understanding of these offspring entities as well as how they were created and what the initial purpose and plan was for their existence.

As we all can see through ongoing research and serious inquiry one thing is for sure regarding the UFO phenomenon, we do not have irrefutable proof or origin of such anomalies in our hands, period. If we claim to know for sure that we are dealing with a force of intelligence from a distant place in our cosmos such as a distant planet, we are only fooling ourselves as well as compromising and tainting serious debate. We are not in any way or in any position to make any such claim as to what we are dealing with whether it is of “flesh and blood” or from a spiritual realm. What we do know however is this, we are in the midst of something real and I hope we all can keep undue speculation and misguided remarks at bay so we can continue to research this phenomenon without further complicating this mystery with unhealthy as well as unsightly bias. We also need to steer ourselves away, but not completely from the “space alien” hypothesis as well as the belief that we have to have “tangible” evidence to prove the entire phenomenon of UFOs and an alien presence on Earth. We have been focusing on these two principles for many years, and in hindsight it has really gotten us nowhere fast. The answer may be very evident, an answer that is right under all of our noses. We may be in fact making this phenomenon more and more complex ourselves by being overly convinced that the explanations we all seek must have a very difficult and unearthly explanation. Therefore, we all continue to base our search at the highest level obtainable, but it may be a possibility that we are searching too far above the level we need to be because it is very possible that what we may in fact have been searching for so diligently and painstakingly “out there” may have been among us all along…here.

No one, has all the answers to what I think of as a fascinating and a possible new chapter that stands to be added to the scientific knowledge of all mankind regarding the true nature and origin of the unidentified flying object phenomenon. Regardless of what some of the current researchers say regarding certain people that should not have an opinion or to be heard regarding the scientific portions of these encounters in a “professional field” as they call it, I have only to say this. Nothing you have ever done as well as nothing you have ever accomplished through education or otherwise allows you to be more “qualified” to research UFOs and all that is involved with it. I read this in an article in “UFO Magazine”(April, 2009 Issue), which just made my blood boil. I will be respectful and not name any names, but this person knows who they are and what they have said. I can also tell that this individual is worried more about his accomplishments as well as flaunting his education in arrogance to others than he is of truly wanting answers to the phenomenon he is supposed to be chasing.

In my opinion, no amount of man made information or education that anyone has obtained can prepare you any better for the answers we all seek on the issues at hand. For we have no idea the level of knowledge that we may be up against in the future regarding a possible advanced race of intelligence within our cosmos whether it is of a physical race or of a spiritual one. I laughed soon after I read where the person stated that his education qualified him to research and investigate UFOs, and that he would surely be ready to accept an alien race and others would not, simply implying his education makes him “Superman” in the acceptance of another race of beings! I am sorry sir, but I don’t think they even offer a credited course on ufology in any college in the world, much less a degree in ufology, so you are speaking out of turn as well as with much ignorance regarding these issues. I do not care what kind of degree you have or the colleges anyone has attended, it does NOT prepare you to be or for you to even claim to be an expert or even an educated amateur dealing with this side of science. If someone really wanted the answers to crucial questions that have been searched for over years and years, they would be very appreciative to have others join in the search along side them. There is a thing called common or intuitive knowledge that cant be learned in any place of education in the world, it is in fact a God given attribute that is within a person upon conception, and it carries with it much validation of the world in which we live.

Now, for the ones out there that want answers as much as the “educated” people out there, I say to you, start your research. There should be nothing holding you back from attempting to uncover the answers we so desperately need. This phenomenon affects all of us. If you are serious about such research, then I am very sure it will be conducted in the manner in which best serves you and your experiences if you have had any. We all need to work on a common goal of disclosure together regarding UFOs, one person can not do it all by themselves regardless of their background and regardless of what level their ego is at. This is a phenomenon we all are basically ignorant about simply because we have little or no viable evidence to base any solid claims on up to this point. I feel we stand a much greater success rate for all of us to be working as one on these issues, rather than trying to discredit our own kind in the process.
